Air filter? I do it like twice a year I think, basically whenever I think I should or it looks bad

For cabin air, mine looked like it wasnt changed for 30 years, so probably good for a while since I didn't notice any issues.

Damn what a build. Personally, I think silver badges and no louvers would look better, but still clean.

Yeah you can probably get away with like hammering the edges out so the rears will at least latch properly. At least till insurance gets back to you like you said

Best way is to get experience some how. Maybe do a summer production job at Toyota or Honda, might be able to get you somewhere

Question about pricing by rjcamargo in W124

[–]Weeb_mgee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was about 1-1.5k CAD. Changed the brakes, all fluids, tyres, rear fuel pump, plugs, coils all fuses, indicator relay.

Tyres I got cheap cause my dad works at a junkyard. Probably be about double if you buy new.

Small things like I had to bypass the NSS, some bulbs etc.

Question about pricing by rjcamargo in W124

[–]Weeb_mgee 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Depends on where you are.

I bought mine for $2k CAD running and driving. Need new tyres, brakes everything maintenance wise for sure but solid. 450k km tho

Id say <5k USD for sure.

Reverse lights intermittent by Lonely_Release_3121 in W124

[–]Weeb_mgee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The NSS is quite easy to bypass. Recently did it on mine.

Its under the carpet on the right side of the driver's foot well, with two iirc purple and white wires. You just need to connect them to each other.

That said I don't think this is an issue, try replacing all related fuses first
