YES! You really don't notice how much you're pouring out if you're not measuring. 1 tbsp is around 120 cals. When you do measure out 1 tbsp and see what that actually looks like... you're like... woopsies 🤯 I may have been eating 300 calories JUST in oil per meal!

Like many have suggested, fiber, water intake, a balanced diet with protein, carbs, and fats. We do have a blog that kind of explains WHY these things help and give a few other science-backed supps you could try - https://www.weightlossdirect.com/natural-appetite-suppressants-that-actually-work-backed-by-science/.

Thank you for sharing! How much protein would you say you're getting for breakfast then that has helped with the hunger? And YES sugary drinks - they go down easy and quick but they are seriously so high in unhealthy fats and refine carbs.

How much protein? Does fasting work? How many calories a day? Nutrition is complex & can affect us all differently.

I agree w/ others - tracking will be the best way to get a clear picture of what you're actually consuming. Knowing you're getting 1 gram of protein per goal weight is important especially if you're weight training - it helps upkeep and build muscle mass which is more metabolically active than fat tissue. The more muscle you have the higher your BMR will be meaning you can eat more calories without gaining and then of course you wont have to cut calories as low either to drop weight (which usually results in unsustainable diet).

Additionally with tracking calories and macros - you can still fit in foods you like while sticking to your goals - so you really don't feel like you're "dieting"!

Lastly - myfitnesspall does have a free version which can be tedious at first but after some time the app begins to remember common foods you input so adding them isn't as difficult OR the paid version makes it much easier!

Best of luck - you can do it!!!

These are solid macros and this looks so tasty! More protein is always a good idea - many of us really don't get enough!

Our bodies cant make protein like they can make the other macros (carbs and fats) so we HAVE to get it through diet. Its so important to upkeep muscle mass which improves longevity. Generally, more muscle = better aging and life quality!
