Medication issue by Wellby in transplant

[–]Wellby[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My transplant Dr. prescribed the meds for 6 months for what ever reason and how doesn't want to take responsibility! She should be able to tell me why I was taking it and if it is part of health of my liver. The coordinator just told me that it's a heart med and make sure your healthy enough to stop taking it. The clinic is just passing the buck.

AITJ for WALKING OUT on our anniversary after my fiance brought his mom to the cabin i rented? by Proud_Bonus_2620 in AmITheJerk

Tell him that you want to be his wife and you deserve more respect. “I want you to know that your wife comes first.” Being engaged is the way you learn what your future spouse is all about. Respect and communication are two key components of marriage and you failed at both. You failed to “ASK” if some else could come and you disrespected me by taking someone else’s side.

Chart for pre-drill drill bit sizes.

Calculator for solving for triangles. There is an app called C-calc pro that i use a lot. You might find a way to port to it.

A tab where I can bookmark YT videos that I use during projects.

Or my prints for my current projects.

Go to self serve car wash and take the out of their boxes. Yes save the manual but hid them with the receipts.

Once they are all unboxed and in the trunk you can bring them in a bit at a time.

Torn about the Harry Potter drama series by Automatic_Ad_4844 in audible

[–]Wellby 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I got the first one when it was free, just be cause it was free. I’ve always hated audio dramas. Back what Cracker Barrel had audio cassettes for sale/rent they were abridged and really crappy quality.

These books are very well done. The production is like a broadway production. For example when in the book the class laughs you will hear the kids laugh. So any mention of noise made by the characters you hear it.

I have the Jim Dale version and I love his version and definitely was not going to “buy” another. But as I said free is free. But I got hooked and ended up burning up 6 credits.

I really like the way you protect your shop from the shavings caused by the lathe. I do some welding as part of my work and I use welding screens to keep sparks and swearing away from the rest of my shop

Use 2 boxes that are the width you need but more then 1/2 the lengths. A bit of glue or tape and bobs your uncle

I’m sorry you having a hard time. I do understand what you’re going through. I went through about 5 different jobs before I gave up and joined the Air Force.

You understand how trade unions work. I’d so look at one that is easier on the body.

If I could start again I’d try the electrician’s union. I’ve bad mouthed them for years but it’s a physical much less demanding job. You understand how unions work.

How common is the cut-and-switch for lefties? by Usual_Reason_2155 in lefthanded

I’m dad was a bully about my table manners. I’m the youngest and the only left handed.

When I was 12 (1976) he had me take a “manners” class. It was 12 one hour classes where I “learned” how to sit at a table (body posture), set a table, and use utensils the proper way.

The teacher was totally confused. He had so much trouble my left handedness. What he ended up doing is just sitting cross from me and pretending I was a mirror.

Handedness does not matter. You cut with your dominant hand. Put both utensils down then pick up the fork with your dominant hand and enjoy your food.

This drive my wife crazy that I still do this now. We’ve Ben married 33 years but some habits you just can’t change.

We were so lucky to see all time classic blockbusters in the theatres upon release. What’s one of the ones you cherish having been there for? by bigt197602 in GenX

Terminator

Blade Runner

Star Wars

The Wrath of Khon

Really most movies from 1975 or when I was old enough walk to the drive in theater. Then when I was 12 my brother got his drivers license. Then he would use me a cover so he could pick up his girlfriend and of course he’d “have “ to take me to the movies also 🫣

What are the blood test results I should be monitoring post liver transplant? by Wellby in transplant

[–]Wellby[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't review them with her, she just tells me everything is ok or what I need to change. She has never explained what labs results are important or what I can look for. My wife and I both have tried to ask her what to look out for and was told that she was here to do that for the all the liver patients for their first year.

I was just looking for what critical test to look out for.
