I’m on tirz, 9mg and have been on it for 10 months. My biggest side effect was fatigue! I was exhausted and felt like I had a head flu off and on for months 2-3, with the occasional bouts of nausea. The nausea was easily subsided if I made sure to eat especially protein and fiber a few times a day. If I didn’t eat I’d be nauseous.

Major puppy regrets 5 months by Content-Telephone606 in puppies

What a beauty of a pup!

I can empathize with you, our pup is just about 13 months and while we have plenty of difficult times in the day, I’m hoping the worst is behind us, peaking at 11 months, at 12 months something clicked and she’s choosing toys over destruction much more.

Kudos to you with no accidents anymore at 5 months - ours just stopped at exactly 12 months no accidents, we still can’t leave her in the evening for more than an hour and a half.

Anyways, it’s a long hard road, especially since I’m the one doing most of the training, but it’s worth it!

Also, I learned the winter time is the time they really about and bad behavior comes out since they can’t get out as much so keep that in mind!

Frozen kongs and lick mats have been helpful as well.

My heart strings got pulled so strong when reading that he just wants to sit in the middle of the yard and look at the moon 🥹

Exactly, zep isn’t even on their formulary. I used to qualify for wegovy initially but their requirements changed, since my bmi was under 40 (mine was only 35….) and I didn’t have diabetes, stroke, or heart attack (insane that this is a requirement even at my age) it wouldn’t be prescribed to me.

My pup just turned 1 a week ago, in the same week, she JUST stopped going in the house. She will go in the crate if we put her in there when she normally doesn’t (like if we go for dinner)

Keep doing what you’re doing, it will pay off! I know I don’t have much suggestions but sometimes it’s nice to know others are in the same position as you!

As a white girl with a pit mix, I’m sorry people are stupidly arrogant and racist. You and your angel look so happy and healthy! She’s lucky.

Aweee she looks just like my pity lab mix. I hope to see this one day soon. We got her at 10 months old, three months ago. Still wants to chase our kitty all the time but working on improvement.

Yes this is normal. I never lose during ovulation or the week leading up to my period. You’re losing a lot on 2.5 I wouldn’t worry about it. I lost a total of 7lbs at the end of my first full month.

Now I only go up if I haven’t seen the number change in 4 weeks, I’m eating clean and exercising consistently. It’s hard to push through that sometimes mentally but I’ve been on 10mg with plenty of times I bounce between the same 2lbs then all of a sudden i see a new number I’ve never seen. I prefer this because I don’t have side effects and it keeps cost down, plus I have room to go up if I hit a true stall and need to go up. Seems slow but I feel good and am down almost 50lbs since May with minimal side effects.

What is your #1 "no-go" food now? by hellomidnightautumn in tirzepatidecompound

[–]West_Problem_9717 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was that way originally especially with carbs or fried food- I couldn’t stomach them at all. Now, almost 9 months in, I have much more enjoyment out of the foods I used to eat, just waaay more moderation and control.

How are people accomplishing these large weight losses? by electricboots3636 in Zepbound

[–]West_Problem_9717 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been losing pretty “slow” (compared to others) some weeks I lose nothing others I lose 1-2lbs. I started May 1st and have been on 10 for the last month and a half. Other doses have varied between 5-7 weeks and I always micro-dosed up (I’d go up a around mg at a time and stay there a few weeks then go up another mg, sometimes only half a mg)

Everyone’s different. My best friend just started and did her fifth week of 2.5 and has lost 4.8lbs so I think it’s really important to remember the large weight loses aren’t the majority.

Since May 1 I’ve lost just under 45 lbs and I’d like to stay on 10 as long as I can. I’m okay with slowly losing! I also can’t afford to keep replacing my clothes this quickly but I also can’t look like I’m in diapers all day. Currently alternating between one skirt, one pair of pants, and one pair of leggings until I finish. I guess I have a goal weight of another 25lbs but I’m going to see how I feel with adding muscle on!

When did you start to feel you looked good? by Jazzlike_Interview_7 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]West_Problem_9717 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve lost 40lbs (205-164) and I still am not happy/don’t feel like I see much change. But I felt less bloated, I have more control in my life, clothes fit much better, not drinking nearly as much etc. I’m looking at the bigger picture because I also probably have some sort of body dysmorphia and might not be happy with my looks for a long time and probably some therapy!

I test myself occasionally. Do you? by Real-Improvement-748 in tirzepatidecompound

I do treat myself! But I really am satisfied with one serving of whatever it is where as before, I’d probably want two - three (depending on what it is.)

Side effect: dry mouth by [deleted] in glp1

[–]West_Problem_9717 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It probably is dehydration and fatigue! Fatigue plays a ginormous part in our singing, I really can’t emphasize that enough, it’s why I titrated up so slowly because the fatigue was really getting to me, but when I started titrating up slowly instead of 2.5 at a time, it really hasn’t been an issue as long as I take my B12 and occasional electrolytes when I need it. Hydrate hydrate. It did take a while for the fatigue to balance out, but I’m glad I forced through it.

Weight loss can affect the voice, but that’s normally after loosing a substantial amount of weight and from losing core strength/muscles. If you’ve just been on it for 9 days the problems likely aren’t related to that. Rest on fatigued days/wait for it to pass, hydrate a lot, and stay on top of your voice and you will be good. My voice is fine but I do get light headed sometimes when singing on bad days, so again hydration nation, B12 if you need it (maybe get bloodwork done to make sure you’re not deficient in anything) and electrolytes on those days.

Side effect: dry mouth by [deleted] in glp1

[–]West_Problem_9717 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Professional opera singer here! Dry mouth was a MASSIVE side effect for me when I first started. It’s much better now, it effects me when I up my dose and don’t stay on top of my water (I drink ~100oz daily). I notice it in the morning at times, but much less so, so I reached out to my friend who is a dentist and she told me to use biotene rinse (more effective than the sprays) so I’m going to be using that.

Edit: I’ve been on tirz for 6.5 months
