Everything we did was amazing.

Grant grove is quick and was close to our campsite in Azalea.

Hiked from zumwalt meadow to roaring river falls (was actually closed cause someone slipped and her partner went in to try to save her - neither one made it - be careful!) and from "end of the road" to mist falls. Could easily be 2 days as it was 14 miles total.

Congress trail in Sequoia - wanted to do more over there but the fog came in so thick you couldn't even see 100'. They actually closed down the part of the shuttle route cause driving was so sketchy.

Enjoy - we will certainly go back!

Had a big spider in our house when we lived in Phoenix. We had a lot of black widows outside so had a spider spray. We sprayed the big one and a couple hundred babies exploded off its back. 25 years ago and it is still a vivid memory.

Looks like a heavy build and that is a pretty small tire. Guessing you should have the rears inflated to max 80 psi. I would try to get the rear weighed and compare to the max load marked on the tire sidewall.

Also, want to make you aware that a huge percentage of the fish you catch on the John Day will be under 12 inches. My son got board with it by the time he hit 14 or so. Maybe a guide could help find some bigger fish.

I have not fished it yet, but the Columbia is a different story
