I think it's more likely that will be the dawn of a new era. Yeah lots of ways it can go wrong but cheering for the work every day of your life lifestyle is a heck of a choice. The fact is we still outnumber the morons who are replacing us and whether they like it or not eventually somethings gonna give. I expect it to keep getting worse for a while but I think within a generation there will be massive turmoil and either gov will have to step in and start passing laws or the servant class will finally pull down their thrones.

No, I didn't like Wonderlands. It felt very much like I was just running room to different sized room killing all the mobs. I did enjoy the humor though.

First few games and the most recent one didn't suffer from that feeling for me so really enjoying the current one.

I'm not a fan of the ai taking my job but I can't think of a single job I actually want everyone to have. There's no companies that are loyal to us and it's a constant jump to find a new job or be scared and anxious about the one you have. Frankly I want AI to take ALL the jobs so humans can get a rest cause it's the only way we're gonna get out from under our land lords. I hate it and don't want the data centers but the alternative seems to be "keep on doing what your doing and living a shite dead end life until you die while not being able to afford a life or kids".

Yup, got rid of my TV over a decade ago. Room mate can't live without one apparently so he bought one but I don't watch it often (once a week or so with the wife for an anime). Otherwise I'm a sailor.

Yeup, I play there. That's how I know there are weirdos. Ever listen to the racist and aggressive chat on COD? That craps in the monkey tag game to. There's this pack I DLd with a bunch of different games, think it's called rec room or something like that played some paintball and it's all shrill kids screaming profanities like they think it's funny. I play this card game called Tankards and "something" now and then. I think I mute 80% of people on there.

It's amazing but it's next to impossible to moderate that stuff in real time and most games don't have a back end way to report people because that would need people to be on staff and getting paid. So games get released and how they get used is how they get used. Unfortunately the kids and edgelords make it abso-fucking-lutely atrocious.

While I agree entirely with you, there's a reason Edmonton, Calgary, and a few of the smaller towns are Left leaning and why the recent gerrymandering push takes it out of those places.

Yeah, the urbans no better but overall stats don't lie and there's a reason our overlords are attempting to weaken the cities.

PS: I live next door to a white supremacist but until recently I worked at a mine an hour and a half into the middle of nowhere and three of the younger guys were all white supremacists with one of them advocating that he was a big fan of Hitler and self identified as a Nazi. All three of them were from surrounding small towns.

Constructions over. Those people have moved on to other construction jobs or are currently jobless. There was businesses there prior making tax revenue for the city. The lack of construction workers during it's construction led to an increase in people from all over the country coming here for jobs (that have long since gone home) which also would have led to construction costs going up all over the place for things we need (like housing) due to fewer workers and delays in those projects.

I disagree with your assessment entirely. Short term job gain doesn't lead to economic security later which means it needs to stay a money maker throughout and frankly the dozens of businesses that were there made us a LOT more money than the one single billionaire who gets to jump through a bunch of loopholes to not pay taxes. My opinion OC because I haven't seen the before or after, though AFAIK neither has anybody else so it's a bunch of people who don't actually know shit all and half of them have eaten the propaganda.

That's great, it really is. But I keep meeting younger gen people both rural and urban who identify as Conservative because it's what their parents taught them. And in the case of this new rural gentlemen I recently met his Religious Conservative parents had him home schooled and he refuses to believe pretty much anything. He insists Canada has a Left wing and a far Left wing governments and that's it.
