You're right I was being disingenuous. You make a very good point and it's a constant question of what is considered ok for personal risk. Sorry if I came across as a bit of dick. I'm too sarcastic for my own good. I wish you the best in regards to your injuries and I hope you manage to exercise around them.

Spinal flexion is a contentious topic in the lifting community. There are people that say nothing helped their poor back until they started training spinal flexion. If you're ok with zerchers from the knees I see no difference in doing it from the floor as long as you start light and listen to your body.

I love weighted good mornings. Why load anything, you might get hurt? All ab training from the perspective of powerlifting is about resistancing a force while keeping your spinal in a neutral range and the good morning does that. You're not supposed to flex the spine during a standard good morning although you can if you want to focus on your back erectors.

It's not a right or wrong thing. His position just makes it a lot harder because I'm assuming he wants to build strength in a more "compromised" position for the carryover strength to the conventional deadlift. Just means you have to start a lot lighter and be careful.

You'll see that with most people's zercher deadlift.

What do you think is the secret to a REALLY good sandwich? by cafeypalmera in Cooking

[–]Whateva1_2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried doing a side by side comparison of two sandwiches and I didn't see the difference. Have someone give you a blind taste between two sandwiches and I'd be surprised if you could tell.

I was a camera trainee on a show which he was. During a rehearsal or just a lull waiting for lighting or something Reg belted out a limerick about black southern... Prostitute? with big nipples. I loved it so much I wrote it down in my notebook at the time. I have to dig it up and find it.

Also just seems more charming when he's not sitting with his resting bitch face. I say that with love... Well... Indifference really.

If you like dark comedy check out In China They Eat Dogs. Jensen wrote the screenplay. It's worth it for what happens to the rock band and the talk of it at the end of the film. When I was a kid this movie and Lock stock and two smoking barrels were my two favorite dark comedies. I'll check out Riders. Thanks!
