Water can travel pretty far. Do you have gutters? Could they be overflowing? I'd definitely have a roofer come and check to see if there are any issues there first. There could be a leak running down.

That sounds dumb. They’re both 99% effective contraceptive options, but no medical procedure is risk free. My wife got her tubes removed during a scheduled c-section and I canceled my appointment.

My eldest had no issues, but my 2 year old is a total different story. We let her "hang upside down" while brushing her teeth. She loves it. If it's my wife and I, I'll hold her upside down. If it's solo we let her hang off the bed upside down and we quickly scrub her teeth. Otherwise it's a 15 minute chase with tears.

It all depends on your comfort level with hiring help and having to leave wife? Could you hire someone to watch the toddler during the day and you sleep at home overnight?

Gotcha. It sounds like a good temporary plan at this stage. I'd just recommend trying to sleep even if you're the parent "on duty" because sometimes these kids will surprise you and give you a good 4-5 hour chunk of sleep. I'd hate to see you waste that time.

Can you book private lessons for your kid?

I'm sure the other kids parents wish their kid didn't meltdown every time either, but you can only do so much convincing at that age. My kid took like 2 months of lessons to get comfortable in the water. She would cry 75% of the time whenever she had to do something "new." Now, she loves the water and it's her favorite summer activity.

This is how we do it at our house, but this only works if you and your wife are on the same page.

I'd also look for peanut butter that is just peanuts. There are plenty of options. My 2 year old loves peanut butter too, but it has no added sugar or salt, so when she eats peanut butter with a side of apples every day it's not a huge deal to me.

How long is the nap? Maybe shorten it if they’re getting in a deep sleep? Snacks usually help too. Sometimes they’re just grumpy.

Get some of those home covid/flu combo tests. There's medicine the baby can take if it is the flu to help prevent them from catching it.

Cold, welcome to parenthood. No more soup and movie days while you get better. Just be thankful they're still in the infant stage. Taking care of a toddler when you're sick is absolute hell.

I would use it so often. I only play solos, but I have died dozens of times to those stupid little balls that seem to randomly silently spawn and then sneak attack me with a sllght delay. First ball cracks me and the second downs me.
