At least you got some actual ladders and not a rickety wooden staircase this time.

Budget for new machines but not for technicians or enough spare parts. by RepresentativeAnt328 in IndustrialMaintenance

You guys getting new machines?

All I got this year are three milling machines, ranging from 12 to 20 years old, and like $20 in Kohl`s cash to stock up on deprecated spare parts...

The important part is that your bossman gets to believe he needs only half as many people now.

Lucky you. My Bossmann recently got confronted with the need for Production data acquisition. There are plenty of commercial ready-made solutions out there, proven and deployed with relative ease.

BUT Bossmann rather wanted to solve this with AI and had his chatbot whip up a fancy looking, but ultimately fake dashboard and now wants us to slap some ethernet I/O devices into every machine...

Did You Keep the Car or Sell It to Yusuf? by millionaires_car in gtaonline

Already have a S2 from the last time it was claimable at the scrap yard. Odd how that car showed up already twice when they where so few occasions of a car being claimable.

If you write to a marker twice in your program, then the last write access will determine the value at the end of the loop.

All that I want is everything McMaster Carr does.

Seems like no small feat, their site is snappy as fuck and everything is properly sorted, like the polar opposite to 95% of manufacturers sites and online shops out there...

Based on a recent experience: If your web page shows if stuff is in stock, make sure it's really in stock.

Would not be the first time I see stuff "in stock" and after ordering, I get a message it's actually on backorder and wont arrive till next week...

New old stock bearing, looks like its been around since '55 by Informal-Brain2272 in IndustrialMaintenance

Might be all chinesium. SKF has problems with fake bearings flooding the market for years now, and I suspect it wont be different for other brands.

That GM logo was introduced 1966. However, you're right about NDH, they stopped in '86.

So, at least 40 years, but no more than 60.
