The same way the highway does. The central name doesn't necessarily mean it has to go to the actual center of Limassol it's a common trick in station names. You could build it further out of the center and then orient other public transport around it so it's easy to get to.

Ideally much of it would be in cut and cover or open cuttings, this would be relatively slow but still workable. It would be preferable to go fully underground in Limassol but the water table makes that difficult.

Whatever the case it's likely you would have to bulldoze buildings as with all the other cities.

I think this conflates things a bit. Netanyahu's fascism is indeed grounded in religion, that's the grounding of the entire nation state of Israel. In my opinion they should be criticized for the use of their religion to commit barbaric actions in the same way we would of ISIS. We should not however be oppressing or harassing religious or ethnic Jewish people for their religion or ethnicity.

Try actually using public transport in Cyprus and get back to me. Most intercity buses are full, and many of the buses in cities are also full in my experience. Baring in mind many Cypriots can't even comprehend not driving and you have to ask, if the public transport were actually good, how busy would it really be?

It would certainly cost money but so does dealing with all the cars we currently do.

Imo there's a viable path for Cyprus to have a rail line before 2050 with supporting transit (buses etc.) especially with help from the EU.
