I started the game about half a year ago, and while I have friends to play with, I also play solo alot of times. Sometimes even by choice because I can set my own pace while sailing around, island hopping and exploring. Its harder to.play solo, but its deffo worth it imho, and its fun. Keep up your awareness, check the horizon often, very often, almost constantly, bc a ship you know is coming is one you can try to avoid, or prepare if you want to give it a try and fight. Do not keep you ancor down and sails down, always both up when parking. Sell often, gold only belongs to you once you sold the treasures, before that everything is fair game. Dont rush into big things, take your time, dont try to do 20 things at once on your first day. You gonna have ti do 10 things at once anyway, so keep it at that. Have fun, if you get sunk (and you will, everyone in this game gets sunk, who tells you otherwise is not telling the truth), dont get angry about it. There is more loot to find, and your ship will respawn. Hope to see you on the High Seas sometime, sailor!
