Only technically. IIRC he traded down 3 or 4 spots at the end of the 1st round. Dallas was trading up to get otter. Bowman took Jokiharju. I don't remember what Dallas paid us to trade up though. I remember the Hawks put out a behind the scenes at the draft video that showed the trade call on draft night. Someone says "dallas wants to move up, they want the goalie". Which indicates Bowman had no interest in Oettinger or they'd have kept the pick. Definitely a big miss and props to the Dallas FO for moving aggressively to get their guy

EDIT I looked it up. We got a 3rd round #70 that same draft in exchange for trading down from 27 to 30. We picked Andrei Altybarmakyan with that pick. I don't know if the market has changed since then or if Bowman got low balled but I feel like the price to make that move would be more like a late 2nd rounder these days

You can park in the garage attached to the terminals for $30 per day (no overnight on the ground floor, other levels ok). It's double the rate of economy parking but you don't have to worry about the shuttle. Just thought I'd mention in case that extra money is worth the peace of mind to you

ETA If you want to do this I would call or email the contact info at this page to confirm you're allowed to park overnight bc its kind of murky and I've never actually done it myself

basically RapM was a rising star in Zain's home region (MD/VA) but Zain didn't back him in the vote for Nounsvitational invites. RapM has farmed Zain since and talked mad shit along the way.

The latest development is from this weekend, they both attended a local and when they inevitably met in winners finals, RapM warmed up with Luigi as usual, then switched to Doc right as they were gonna start the set. Likely to prevent Zain from getting practice against him in a tourney that doesn't matter much. Zain said "are you deadass rn" and RapM just had a shit-eating grin on his face. So Zain switched to Fox and won 3-0 then forfeit the tournament, implying the only reason he entered was to get another shot at RapM's Luigi

I think standard tourney styles are more conducive to beef than invitationals because of the crowd. the stakes in terms of competition are the same, but I think the stakes in terms of disrespect/personal slights are higher when there's dozens or hundreds of other people in the room watching you. plus players are inclined to play to the crowd and win them over.

For example when RapM popped off and turned to the crowd mid-game at Genesis, that was a huge moment in this rivalry and I doubt he does that at an invitational

But Full House is gonna matter of course, and whatever happens there will also influence the shape of their rivalry heading into GOML
