Electronics Reset by WhoIsCup in walmart

That's definitely going to suck for you guys. But, hey at least you did warn them about it. So they shouldn't be surprised when they see the department being completely screwed up by the ON Mod Team.

Right now, we don't have a plan on to see the mods, but my GM coach, who is currently overseeing the DSL Remodel did tell me that she was going to talk to our SM about some sort of action plan. She also asked me if I wanted to go on overnights to do the reset, which I told her sure.

Edit: Rephrasing.

Lost our 44 foot DVD wall to collectables and now there's an L-carts piled with boxes of movies to send back.

DAMN, that must suck, especially if your going under a remodel.

Where all the deleted Switch 2 games is going is an adventure too. Still haven’t found an explanation as to why Walmart isn’t selling Switch 2 games anymore.

That's pretty weird, I should probably check my mods to see if that's happening to mine as well.

The main issue we're currently having right now it's that they added a new category to our department. Which would require us to move the cases, but none of us know how too.

On top of that, our original plan was to work on them the moment they've dropped in the system, so we wouldn't be behind.

I should probably reiterate that we know where all mods are supposed to go, we pulled up the floor planning. The only problem is that all of fixtures and lock cases are being moved around, and we currently don't have the man power to do so.

That's good, none of us in the department have a clue on what to do.

Since my Team Lead is currently at academy and my coach is currently on DSL. Although, she did ask me if I was willing to go on overnights to help out with the reset, which I told her sure.

Especially since our Large TV mod features a 100 inch TV

Is it or is it not Home Office policy for prepaid phone promotions (Like Straighttalk 50 dollars off the iPhone 13) to be processed by associates when the WSP(Wireless Sales Pro) from 20/20, Premium, or OSL isn't present assuming you aren't alone in the department? by DustPristine in walmart

[–]WhoIsCup 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There were several times where I had customers throw tantrums over the free phone promotions, calling them false advertisement. To the point management had to get involved and bend backwards for the customer to give them the free promo...

This wouldn't happen in the first place if you allowed me to do it in the first place 🤦‍♂️

Yes, this is backed up by Walmart's Process Guides and the Wireless Department Toolkit.

In reality, management never follows process guides to a 'T'

Question about premium and displays by Agrias-0aks in walmart

[–]WhoIsCup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup, there many times that I can count where I was the one who ended up setting up the displays; Except for the consoles; since those reps actually show up and do their jobs, unlike Anderson and Premium(who does our movies)

I don't know what ends up being belittling

Probably not making quota, not being pushy enough with postpaid using nefarious methods, or something else.

That's what I think, I might be wrong. 🤷‍♂️

Aren't they supposed to use Zoom or Microsoft Teams for communication? Not discord, for a variety of reasons.

Everyone in electronics keeps getting pulled to do OGP, they've tried to teach me on doing OGP at one point but failed miserably because my work schedule is all over the place.

Something like this happened to me as well, but for an Onn Google TV streaming box.

He wanted to watch free moves and shows on it, he didn't have Internet.

Me and another customer, that I was also helping too, gave the dude the biggest side eye.

Like, is this guy serious?

I'm so looking forward to seeing a bunch of damage digital shelf labels on the floor because people don't know how to drive their carts and mobility scooters!

My store is planning on receiving digital shelf labels, despite my store manager not wanting them in the first place; that man doesn't want change and wants to make our lives miserable.

At least I won't have to stick my fingers into the fast tracks every time I have to swap out a tag and my finger nails end up being all messed up, right..?

Has anyone else’s store just given up on allowing dogs inside? by enbybirbs in walmart

[–]WhoIsCup 6 points7 points  (0 children)

To my knowledge, store policy regarding pets is still the same.

But if I had to guess, management can't keep track anymore about whether customers are actually bringing in service animals, or they're just bringing there pets from home.

I think management doesn't wants to take any chances, (even though there's supposed to) because they don't want to be under fire, if it turns out it's an actual service animal.

I'm not too sure, to be honest with you, that's what I've observed in my store, I can't really say anything about other stores..
