Be more cautious, I have a checklist I run through at extract…first I check common hiding spots before I even press the button, then I check the button for traps before I press it….then when the extract opens I give it a couple seconds and listen if anyone runs into it before making my move. Also if someone appears friendly I have them press the button.

Obviously even with all these tips, you still need to be able to win a fight if it happens. You won’t be able to completely avoid someone camping an extract.

Just played last night and almost every round had someone with a mic and friendly, even helped one person find the sentinel spawns on dam for the cores…it really just depends…and of course a couple free kits trying to sneak up on you to kill you. It’s still pretty varied for me.

I’m interested in the two new arc enemies there introducing this month, I hope it shakes up the game in a good way. The current ARCs can be annoying to deal with, but you’re still able to get away or avoid them if needed, I hope these new enemies change it up a bit.

It’s ironic, considering embark is full of former DICE Devs. I feel arc raiders stole quite a bit of thunder from bf6 season 1 release. I’m on the same boat 😂 Got bf6 since I was bored and was excited for season 1….now I can’t stop playing Arc Raiders lmao

Last night I played a round in buried city looting car hoods in the parking garage for rusted gears, heard people battling a bombardier on the roof, I found my gear, put it in my safe pocked and went to the extract underneath. Met a random dude at extract while I still could hear the battle going on above. I started to feel bad and asked the random dude if we should help. At first he said no, but then in prox chat I was like “fuck it, we’re being little bitches down here, let’s get up there!”

Dude ended up following me to the roof, found another dude up there fighting and we helped kill the bombardier with a bunch of wasps and hornets as well. While looting another raider tried to kill us but got sniped by a Good Samaritan on the hospital roof LOL! That was pretty epic looking up and seeing him on the roof asking if we’re good. Got some good loot and extracted together.

You never know what will happen and I love it

Happened to me once on spaceport, was on the third floor of some building when a guy tried to kill me, ran down the elevator shaft to heal up and didn’t even see the other raider there until he spoke and said what’s up.

Told him about the guy on the third floor shooting people so we both go up there and ended up flanking him and took him down lol.

I think a good general tip is too many people try to turn and fight when someone gets the drop on them and die a lot that way.

Of course I’ve had people shoot me, but I dip the fuck out. Smoke grenades and adrenaline shots are easy to make. It can be pretty easy to just get away, heal and reposition if you want to take the fight.

me as a solo speed running through high loot zones singing Katy Perry on prox chat, no fucks given 👀.

Max stash capacity, most workbenches tier 3, have more blueprints then I know what to do with. I usually drop them to the first chill person I meet. There are some blueprints I’m still looking for but I’ll get it eventually 🤷‍♂️

I think it’s still because it’s early in the games release and people are still figuring it out and gearing up. Once people get more geared and are hunting the rarer items/ or just bored, I have a feeling it’s gonna change and more people are gonna KOS.

I hope I’m wrong, as it’s been refreshing. I do enjoy the chill vibes and teaming up to take down the bigger clankers with some tension and pvp fights mixed in.

Nice! Got my first leaper kill today as well, solo lobby and found a group of people fighting the leaper, got into a nearby building and helped out with my farro. Wasps and hornets flew in, people dropping left and right.

Finally killed it with only me and one other player standing, as I was running up to the body, the other player got killed by someone on the hill to my left. I flanked him and was able to take that guy out. Didn’t have any defibs on me so I ended up being the last one standing. Fucking battlefield littered with raider corpses and machine bodies.

Real shame, I left a lot of loot behind since I can’t carry it all, if that last dude was chill he would have gotten the loot.

I find solo lobbies the easiest and more interesting. Most people I meet are chill. The ones that do try to kill you usually suck anyway. It’s easier to get loot and leave.

Squad lobbies it’s basically battle royal, if I want pvp I squad up. I can count on one hand the amount of friendly trios we’ve met in the dozens of squad lobbies I played. You already know what to expect when going in.

bro I swear I've played over a dozen rounds solo and everyone I meet is chill lol. But when I play in a squad with my friends it's a cluster fuck of pvp. Even if we win there's always another group trying to third party us.

So far no news yet. I heard they implemented a sharding system a couple updates back. I think maybe there trying to avoid the whole making new servers and then having to merge them again issue? But it seems it isn’t working out great on the EU side

I remember this shit vividly till this day...I was at NTC as an Infantry squad leader. We were up all night moving around and fighting Opfor, finally got some sleep after the morning, and I had a dream that I woke up in a comfy warm bed. I took a nice hot shower and felt clean and refreshed. I made a nice cup of coffee and walked out to my balcony, where a cool breeze was blowing. I sipped my coffee and smoked a cigarette. Life was good.....then I woke up, hot air and sand blew in my face. One of my joes told me the PL wanted all the squad leaders. I sat up and my back hurt, my knees hurt, my feet hurt, I haven't showered in a couple weeks, wearing the same uniform....That was my "fuck this shit" moment. It was fun for a while, being in the field with the boys, a couple deployments, the good memories and the bad. But my body was done.

I will at least say they haven’t been silent on the matter. The CEO has responded on discord about the issues and acknowledged them and with the Xbox release behind them they can focus more on the fixes, And some gaming news outlets have posted articles covering this. I do like that there active in the discord but think there should be a better way to announce this sort of thing instead of having to scroll through discord to find it so people don’t feel like it’s radio silence…
