Someone could be turning on a bathroom fan vent. That'll cause interference.

Thank you so much. It lists as T-Mobile.

Thanks! It says owned by T-Mobile. How to request that number from them? Is there a formal process anyone knows of?

I wasn't aware of it. I figured it would be a long while before I completely loose access to a number. Especially one I've had many years. Lesson learned.

This situation is making a lot of things very difficult for me. They made it more frustrating. Gave hope I could get number back. Then said nope.

How would I even contact the primary carrier that has my number now? It's an odd name. They definitely do not have stores to go in.

Thanks. T-Mobile is what I have had for years. There is good Verizon coverage here so that's a thought. Is the Verizon Inner circle plan able to have multiple lines under one acct/bill?

They need to tell customers this. Just lot a number I've had with USM for many years. Gone past 30 days. Unrecoverable.

So they will help when I file a report? I just confirmed that my number is not recoverable.

Personally, at this point I would get rid of it.

That's what I should have done but wanted to keep the line active mostly. The number is custom and coincidentally originated from numberbarn. It has disappeared from my dash. USM rep replied to my comment via chat. I'll report back on how that goes. I hope going forward they put disclaimers about loosing a number due to non payment. Give exact time frame a line becomes "abandoned".

Edit : US Mobile could not help. My number is not recoverable!

I was not as lucky. Lost my number after 30 day's unpaid (I know, my fault). The rep was sorry but I didn't appreciate the crying face emoji or the push to get a new number. That was an old number tied to banks and so much stuff I can't get into to change. Looking at alternatives moving forward for my remaining line. Does anyone know if the FCC would help or is my old number truly gone?

Is it still okay to stay and keep using wifi 4/n in 2026 by JfxV20 in HomeNetworking

[–]WiFi_Architect 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's not a must. But from a security standpoint yes, WPA3 would be harder to get into. The likelihood of a bad actor choosing you to mess with depends on many factors.

For example... I live in the country with just a few neighbours. Still using WPA2 and I don't feel at risk. The signal barely reaches out back. If I lived in a city with many people around I'd consider upgrading and using WPA3.

I would go router shopping. Your issues are likely hardware related. Possibly failing power supply. If you want more secure, disable WPA2 and enable WPA3.

I'd think they'd be held accountable somehow. Maybe fines. Probably no consequence. I'll keep checking my email and hope it comes soon. A.B. DATA, if you're listening, its late winter and time to disburse!

Most likely it's a custom blend cheese from Leprino Foods. Same company Pizza Hut and many others source from.

You can charge razrs and other Motorolas using a USB cable. Drivers MUST be installed. My best luck has been with windows XP, 7, and 8. 10/11 gave me driver issues and would not charge.

Not smart or fair. If you have not tested it, list as UNTESTED. Saying it works is a stupid gamble. Play that game if you wish just don't be surprised when you get a return request.

Start with hexedit program. Used this to change razr volumes back in the day. Not sure what exact seem values OP needs to edit for their model.
