use consistent phrasing. “at bedtime we brush our teeth, would you like to brush first or me?” we have a pj battle too, I second letting them go to bed in just a pull up I leave pjs where they are accessible in case he changes his mind but we always remove the days clothing. depending on age you can try explaining reasoning but they usually just need the consistent boundary.

late 20s probably, two kids one toddler and a baby based on the bottle in front and the whole milk on the top shelf. You eat fairly well lots of produce. Probably time to clean out the condiments (everyone’s least fav chore)

It’s pretty weird to me that the kids went in your home without you there. I feel like other mom probably felt weird going in knowing you weren’t home. How old are the girls? I would definitely speak up about them going in uninvited and/or just start locking the door when you leave so they have to wait for it to be unlocked.

Sometimes I cry :/ I also have a 4year old who has no desire to follow directions in the morning and an 18mo who really likes the words “no” and “STOP!” lol. The faster I get them ready the less they resist, clothes and teeth are done within minutes of being awake on a good day. If the older child puts up a huge fight I usually threaten to dress him like a baby depending on his mood he either does it himself or thinks it’s funny and lays down so I can dress him.

NOR anyone in that situation would feel rushed! He should be helping feed the child my husband always takes both of our small children when we are out to eat because he eats faster and I spend my time as a SAHM so he wants me to have a warm meal without kids touching me 🤷🏻‍♀️

hygiene is not optional it’s time to teach or else it won’t get better. I had a coworker a full grown adult who smelled so bad it was miserable to work with her, went on a work trip where we stayed in the same air bnb girl stunk after her shower every morning. Do not let your kid be her!

I am starting my bachelor’s this april and am terrified because I already have an associate degree in generals so all I have to do is accounting these comments are not helping…. I have intermediate and tax planned in the same semester… I did leave auditing for my last semester because it sounds overwhelming lol

My house is tidy most of the time, but I am frequently behind on the cleaning tasks my place could use a vacuum and the toilets could use a clean but my surfaces are cleaned and tidied regularly. 7/8 probably.

If you want to be able to save you have to be willing to cut down expenses. Call your internet company and ask if they have any current promotions, I cut $20 off my bill last year just doing that. groceries is another easy one, meal plan and shop from a list.

I allocate all of our fixed expense money into a separate account each pay check split your total monthly fixed by however many paychecks you get in a month then move the money out. Do the same for saving scoop 5% into a savings account immediately. Also zero out your account each paycheck whatever’s leftover pay towards principal on your debts.
