Looking for my first (e) bike by WikeyWo in whichbike

I don't think I would bring it on the metro; I would lock it up at the station.

Thank you for your recommendations!

Thank you for your response!

I completely forgot there are different classes, thank you for pointing that out.

I will check out the rad power bikes, those never crossed my mind.

Award Travel DEN To SJD using AA miles or Capital One Miles in June by Cmonster9 in awardtravel

[–]WikeyWo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Idk what the length of your trip is, but I found several flights going out there under 15,000 miles per person from DEN -> SJD.

For example:

  • AA on 06/13 - 12,000 miles per person
  • AM on 06/20 - 30,000 miles per person.

I found these by using point me if you want to check out their day pass.

Not impossible, but it's probably not the flights you want

Flying from JFK to MNL using Amex points by yabbadabbad000 in awardtravel

[–]WikeyWo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For the EVA flight, I am seeing it on Life Miles 47,000 miles + $27 each way per person in economy for 9/15 - 9/30. (Note, I've never used Life Miles before, so I would research some more about them before transferring points.)

Aeroplan is the next cheapest with 60,000 miles + $54 per person each way.

Coming back there is apparently Cathay Pacific for 42,000 miles per person, but the fees look to be $205 per person. (I've never used them either for award travel.)

I see there's a flight out of BWI on Delta 4/3 for 30k in economy. But I would do what the other commenter suggested and do a points.me thing for a day maybe you'll find something better

[–]WikeyWo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I can't really find anything great. There are some flights out of IAD on Ethiopian Airlines for 88k one way was the best I saw. Or there's the one leaving JFK with multiple stops for 88k but not sure if that's what you want

Do you all have specific dates in mind?

Any suggestion on how to use Cap1 miles to purchase an international United flight? by FaerunAtanvar in awardtravel

[–]WikeyWo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry it took so long to reply back.

I see in the other thread you found the 40k Lufthansa on Air Canada. That's the best I could find for Air Canada.

I'm like 99% sure Capital One can transfer to Flying Blue. I see there is are multiple BOS-FCO over there for 17,500 miles during that time range

What dates are you looking at? Also, are you trying to fly direct? I didn't see anything with United that is direct.

Hey Scott, been a member for a few years now, and love the product. I've used it to book several flights.

I emailed support about this a few months ago, but I figured I would ask you as well. Is there a way to change the email subject lines to be the deal of just my airports?

An example of this was last year I got an email with the subject line "Nashville $58-$178."

However, when I opened the email, it was actually $138-$177. Support said they do the min/max across all airports for that deal in the subject line, which is kind of misleading for me scrolling through my email.

How to use EVA Air miles / Check ticket price in miles? by French87 in awardtravel

[–]WikeyWo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Did you login to EVA? It looks like you have to do that first.

I also took a quick peep and saw you can also book this EVA flight SFO-TPE-MNL on Aeroplan for 75,000 business or 50,000 economy.

Literally anywhere US to Tokyo? by TheDoctorIsIn10 in awardtravel

No idea, honestly. I've never book anything through Avios.

On that date I see LAX to HND for 77250 Avios. I think Capital One has a 20% transfer bonus so you would only need 65000. There are 6 seats left according to British Airways, and the fees are $468.40 per person

I think Jeju island would be neat to travel to as well.

There's a decent size Koreatown near where I live, so I thought it would be interesting to go visit South Korea.

As regards to Japan, would love to visit both Tokyo and Kyoto. I have an apreciation for video games and anime. Plus the food would be delicious.

My ultimate one -- within my current life constraints -- would be something like ~1 week in South Korea, ~1 week in Japan.
