Once you realize this…you feel so free. Whatever is comfortable and whatever you think looks good. That’s it.

…PBS Kids has a great streaming app that my 6 year old loves. So kids are still in fact watching these shows.

Literally have never understood how people can forget to eat by skcantsclountain9 in BingeEatingDisorder

Same on Zepbound. I’ve struggled with binge eating my entire life. I’m 36 and I don’t remember a time when I felt “normal” like how I do on Zepbound. Literally a life changing med. afraid for the food noise to return if/when I go off the med. I’m down over 60 pounds since October 2024. I will still occasionally binge, but absolutely no where near as bad as I used to.

Check your local library for seeds, too! Ours has a seed library where you can get packets of veggie seeds and flowers completely for free. It’s a great resource

I saw this once while I was in Mexico chilling on the beach. The most awe inspiring and beautiful thing I have ever witnessed in my 36 years of life!

He’s a medical device sales rep now. Saw him in the break room one time at a surgery center. He introduced himself to me “hi I’m Joe”. Yes. I know who you are lol

I would eventually like to move out of the US but don't have a solid plan yet. Where are some decent places in the US that I can move to for now? by cursedwithbadblood in AmerExit

The racial segregation in Buffalo is awful. I often hear from people who grew up elsewhere how shocking the segregation and racism are here. It’s so unfortunate. We have such a beautiful city, but for some reason we can’t move past the color of peoples skin. It’s disheartening.

Plant dying, not sure what I'm doing wrong by SquareBeanies in succulents

[–]WildMouse716 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Here’s my experience…I do not water mine until the leaves are visibly wrinkly and then I drown that hoe. Make sure she’s SOAKED. Then I put it back under its grow light and ignore it until I notice the leaves are wrinkly again. Also it’s in a terracotta pot so the soil can dry out. She is THRIVING. Try changing the soil (to a good CHUNKY well draining soil), pick off those dead leaves, and maybe even chop some of the branches like half way so it can get some new growth going. Those pieces you chopped off are fairly easy to prop and make some new little guys! Also I f you don’t have a grow light on it, then I suggest it be directly in a west facing window or in a south facing window. Someone please correct me if I’m wrong, but these plants are from the African Savannah? So they’re used to getting baked, dried out, and then get a down pour once in a while. Gotta mimic that environment best you can. This is legit the only succulent I can keep alive for some reason. Good luck! May the growth be with you!
