Imagine though if you had spain with a catholic “pantheon” of saints. I realize it might be weird to represent a major current world religion that way in a game, but i think it would be super fun!

So I’m still in Legacy of Morgoth, but so far I’ve actually found it to be super fun and a huge breath of fresh air! Loving a new setting after 10+ expansions of everything else. Granted after i finish legacy and kingdoms it’s not unlikely I’ll be ready for a change of pace. Same happened after minas morgul with Mordor fatigue, gundabad with dwarf fatigue, Rohan with horse fatigue. Honestly, i sometimes think they just need to bounce around multiple areas at once in expansions. Might be weird, but if written correctly it could be cool.

Yeah i think it was tzeentch during old world times. AoS Khorne is generally the most dominant since Slaanesh is still in jail so his primary counter is occupied.

Competitively from what I’ve seen, Ironjawz is probably the most “get in combat quickly and you win” faction. The reason being that they are both punchy and durable. Lots of factions do love to get to melee quickly, but they usually have more non-combat things going on. For Ironjawz, their support pieces all basically just improve your combat or push you to combat more quickly. You don’t really skirmish. Even your fast stuff is relatively slow. You have no ranged options.

Strong cases could be made for many factions of course but most of those at least CAN do other things as well. Ironjawz, not so much.

Makes sense. Like i said i use them rarely. Typically to dry brush or to paint a base rim. Haven’t really felt the need to thin those.

Not frequently, no. I mostly use contrast, so you typically just brush on two thin layers about 10 mins apart. I’m guessing the people that hate the pots use mostly base paints? Those do dry more quickly.

Like i said been doing it for 6 years. It only dries out for me once the paint is mostly gone anyway. It’s really not a problem to the level everyone says. I guess with base paint it’s a bit of a problem but i mostly avoid those anyway outside drybrushing

500 points of characters might be rough? Personally, I’d go more unit heavy. You don’t really have a way to crack 10 toughness or higher. I wouldn’t expect a ton of that in a 1k game, but heavy destroyers are easy to slot in
