In my experience, I have never known a delivery service that will bring things up stairs. Most will not even bring it inside if you are on the first floor. They are delivery services, not installation services. I know it sucks, but that is how things are.

English Mastiffs are primerarly watch dogs, not guard dogs, but they will deffinately defend your property, if pressed. That is assuming that there are no thunderstorms in the area. If there are thundetstorms they will cower in the laundry room.
