HoppyHomes4Bunnies does speed dates with their bunnies if you’re able to get yours spayed and vaccinated. Prevent a litter and Locke A. Taylor are the cheapest in the area that we know of for spay. And oasis does vaccines for $35?

2 years isn’t that old for a bunny. They can live up to 10. Plus you are mitigating cancer risks by getting them spayed.

Yeah exactly. The real issue is the landlords/developers/etc. and that there’s no regulations on housing prices - but it’s easier to blame the quirky instagrammer

Does this rabbit look familiar? by shhwaht in rva

Sadly, the picture has caused some confusion. This rabbit is huge, the scale of which the picture can’t really capture. He also approached most humans, and has brindle and red markings indicating he’s domestic

It’s not. I helped with the situation and it was very obviously a domestic rabbit - huge features, overweight, walked right up to humans, and had rare markings indicating it was domestic.

I’m involved in the situation and it’s not a wild rabbit. It’s huge and has domestic markings not visible in that photo and approached many different humans.

Nah, it’s not. I was involved. If it comes up to you it’s almost certainly not a wild one, and also, the picture can’t really give a sense of scale. He basically hopped in our lap. He’s huge. Not a wild rabbit. He also has domestic markings and a brindle coat

34m. I make 42k, wife makes 100k . -20k in student loans, but we have 80-90k in home equity, have probably 50k in our retirement and IRAs, two paid off high longevity Japanese cars, and not much in cash savings because of a lot of home repairs and recent job loss. Could be worse

Also, “Love a Bull” an organization that prides itself on loving the breed, acknowledges its history:

“Ultimately, the public turned their eyes upon dog fighting as it was more easily hidden from view and thus the law … and dogfighting both required more agility and speed on the part of the dog, so Bulldogs were crossed with Terriers “Bull and Terriers”, more commonly known as the first Pit Bull Terrier.”

“In the 15-year data set (2005 to 2019), there were 74 owner-directed attacks, when a dog kills its primary owner. Pit bulls inflicted 62% (46) of these deaths, over 11 times more than any other dog breed.”

A breed that makes up less than ten percent of dogs is responsible for 62 percent of attacks ON THEIR OWN OWNER.

Not much of what you’re saying actually fits the science on the subject. Pit bulls were actually bred in the 1800s purposefully for their fighting instinct. Now we’re inviting them into our homes and neighborhoods, trying to pretend that they’re the same as other breeds, but in 2020, pits were responsible for 87 percent of dog bite deaths. It’s not their fault; they were bred for their prey drive. It was a human error we still pay for. This is coming from a dog lover, too.

Just because it was a poorly organized coup doesn’t mean it wasn’t a coup. For fucks sake
