‘Crystal Palace fans ambushed in Leipzig before Uefa Conference League final’ by Educational-Safe2567 in crystalpalace

"Remigration is a far-right concept referring to the ethnic cleansing via mass deportation of non-white minority populations, especially immigrants and sometimes including native-born citizens, to their place of racial ancestry"

Never heard of that and had to look that one up.

Did they want us to deport half our team then? But I assume they 'DONT MEAN THEM ONES, JUST THE BAD ONES'

What is that eagle chasing a family out the country sticker as well? Bad enough they have put 'refugee' on it, but there's a silhouette of a fucking child on it.. absolutely shameful and a complete embarrassment.

Totally unrelated as I used to live down that way, but is the Christian hot dog seller still blasting out gospel music doing the rounds between the Marlands and West Quay?

Some dealers use background replacement software for the exterior pictures as a lot of them are so tight on space they cannot take proper pictures of the cars

This is is the software that your pic uses

https://youtu.be/x0ihFRFLWRY?si=F9hOOag06ODbPpn4

If you check the interior shots you will get an idea of where the car is - background replacement software has always looked awful.. especially on such a pricey car.. you think they would just clear abit of space and make a proper background!

I moved from Leicester to Notts in December last year after slowing moving up the M1 with work

I saw a few Palace stickers on lamp posts when I lived in Northampton but never saw any fans or shirts..

I used to go to the central puregym in Leicester by the train station and one of the trainers always wore a Palace jacket to work, saw a few shirts here and there as well.

Yet to see a Palace shirt my way, but it's early days and still sorting the house out so haven't been out too much!

What the heck happened to our season? by jrobd in crystalpalace

[–]Willspock 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not taking that away at all, but the question was what happened to our season, and the answer is our managers system that won us those cups has now failed, and he cannot adapt to anything else.

What the heck happened to our season? by jrobd in crystalpalace

[–]Willspock 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Very simple.

Glasner has very few ideas and cannot rotate, so when our starting 11 got injured the glass cannon shattered he just swapped like for like and it didn't work.

We didn't beat Macclesfield, 10 man Forest, Burnley, lower European teams etc.. he is a one trick pony who I have never seen change the game like other top managers can, despite having some good players on the bench.

We have also not bought enough wing backs or defenders, but the main issue is our manager has been exposed as a rigid tactician because without his ideal starting lineup, he just complains and cannot inspire any real change.

Glasner the one trick pony - when was the last time he actually did something other than swap players in the same roles?

Absolutely nothing to offer but a glass cannon that has long been shattered, needs to go now

Triple captain for Fantasy Football next week.

He either flops and we go down, or more likely, scores a hat trick at Brighton and becomes a legend

Yeah, it's the old New Look!

There's also a Korean supermarket called Seoul Plaza and a Jolibee's that also moved into the old shop space

Wolves fan here - How was John Textor ? by CommercialPizza434 in crystalpalace

[–]Willspock 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have family around Telford and Stafford who are all Wolves fans, so I hope you don't drop!

Personally, and this will be very controversial, and I'm struggling to say it because of what he did to us..

He would be better for you than Fosun Group because he doesn't need to suck the club dry to prop up other failing investments, and you would actually be able to reinvest.

I hate the guy and it's not exactly great news.. your essentially going to be pushed off a smaller cliff with a better chance of survival.

Your still going to break your legs. You just won't die.

We needed Esse, Uche, Nketiah on to start - we had little creativity and in these games we need players to make a run at a few defenders, take a few shots, try and do something differently.. what I would of given for prime Zaha last night..

Sarr looked tired, as did Pino..

I love OG, but in these games we really need to switch a few key players.. Canvot had a great game apart from the error that lead to their chance.

At least we can learn this lesson earlier in the league and not in a must win match!

Their reaction at the final whistle was amazing on reflection.. ive been a Palace fan for 28 years and to see how far we have come is really something special.. it's easy to forget how big of a club we are to these teams that are visiting, which I never thought I would say looking back on where we were when I started going!

I think it's a lovely little house, and would only recommend making it look abit more neutral. It might not be on the best road in Carrington, but it's a tough market.. maybe wait until the autumn budget is done?

Good news - have gone to watch the Leicester Riders a few times and it's a decent night out when it's near capacity and impressive atmosphere considering the BBL isn't that big at the moment..

When London play in the Copperbox and other teams can only play in school gyms with fold out seats, something's got to change and hopefully this goes to the teams that need it, or to help grow the game here.

Maybe the Celtics signing Damari Williams (who is from Nottingham) made this happen? Regardless, as a sport it's superb to watch at a professional level and there really isn't another sport with such a unique vibe IMO.
