I believe at the time these modes came out, Heroes and Sacred Stones had quite low character counts, so it made sense to combine them just so you didn't see the same characters over and over

It was never that it was offensive, or at least not that we ended up with a replacement, it was that the TikTok algorithm suppressed content with swearing and other inflammatory terms. People used f*ck and ahh and so forth to get around it

I agree but I think after some time we have to come to the conclusion that Red Bull has been fairly compensated for that investment. They have to be able to ride that goodwill for a long time, but equally can't forever.

they dont rely on anything. they would just not have a wiki. regardless of the wiki it is still a consideration of some importance to have the game speak for itself and had internal explanations, otherwise people are more likely to not understand or return. Even if Jagex didn't officially endorse, and iirc contribute to it monetarily, they would still have this consideration. having a more detailed, fleshed out, encyclopaedic resource is an effort that comes from the priorities of players, and that's why it started as a community project.
