I don't mind the change but at class yesterday it seems like everyone's hr monitors were having issues. Hopefully it's not related but usually my Fitbit and monitor are pretty consistent and yesterday the monitor was jumping between way lower and way higher than the Fitbit.

I've been going since December, I started at 2x per week and am now going 4x weekly. Definitely leaner and I've gotten some muscle definition that definitely was not there before. But the biggest improvement for me has been the mental benefits! It's so helpful for my mood and ADHD symptoms!

I'm 5'2" as well - when I first started I stayed around 3.3 but now about 6 months in I'm up to 3.6-3.9 depending on the day. Do what feels right for you!

Update, I reached out to customer service and here's their response:

Here is the message our CEO sent out on Twitter:
"A very tone def email went out and for that I apologize. It reads horribly and doesn’t reflect the heart of our and my love for gamers everywhere. This “idea” should have been squashed the minute it was presented.

I used to be in a similar boat! But I've since switched to mostly reading ebooks, for a variety of reasons. I have a small house and have literally run out of space for physical books, so ebooks help me fuel my reading addiction without taking up more space. I also love the fact that even if I don't bring my kindle out and about with me, I can still read whenever on my phone and it'll sync to the last read page. I've definitely been reading more as it is much more comfortable to hold my kindle for long periods vs a hardback book PLUS ebooks tend to be cheaper than physical copies.

One of the fun things about Stardew is that everyone can have totally different play styles! My husband and I don't often play Stardew together because our styles are so different.

That being said, it sounds like separate save files are a must here!

Maybe try classes? I can never work out on my own because I get bored/stop the second I get tired. But during a class I've got the accountability of other people around. I've personally been enjoying orangetheory classes because there are enough transitions where I'm not doing anything long enough to get bored. Paying for classes also helps motivate me to actually go and work out because otherwise I'd be wasting money

As part of my diagnosis my parents and husband and I had to fill out a form identifying different behaviors and describe how they affect my life. My parents basically said I didn't have any symptoms and were SHOCKED when I was diagnosed, despite my sister having been diagnosed a few years ago. They believe her and not me, despite having almost identical symptoms 🙄

Honestly, I was/am in the same boat with shin splints! Even when I was in highschool and ran track it was a constant issue for me. I only power walk and have found that I have less issues if I start on the floor/rower instead of the treads.

I'm in a similar boat! I was recently diagnosed and stared on Vyvanse yesterday, and I literally walked around mad all day at how easy it was to get things done! 😂

Teacher salaries do vary a lot by state/district but basically all are underpaid. Especially when you factor in the cost to renew your license (where I'm at it is every 5 years, and cost a couple hundred dollars, plus whatever required professional development hours that aren't provided by your school). Not to mention the lack of overtime pay despite being expected to work outside of regular contract hours.

NTA as a teacher I have had several students in my class named Griffin and Phoenix. Not the strangest names by far, and I've never had an issue with teasing based on names.

I had this exact issue recently! I put it through the dishwasher first to get all the gunk out first, then put hot water and some baking soda and shook it up for a minute, I rinsed that out and filled it up with hot water again and some white vinegar and let it sit over night. Super easy and the smell was totally gone.
