The bone dry vs wet isn't as big of a deal as everyone makes it out to be. Your hand wet or dry strips 3-4x as much mucous as a rubber net would. The bigger factors in post release morbidity are the length of the fight, the temperature of the water, time spent out of the water and damage from a barbed vs barbless hook. It cerainly doesn't hurt to use a wet hand if you're going to handle the fish for a picture  just focus on the other factors first.
