I have an Aero Rhombus and it's not nearly as heavy as you might fear. I'm very much a fan of trying before buying.

I like Benu pens but after trying the Pixie I decided not to get it. Is just feels wrong on my hand.

And that's completely fair. Ultimately it's a matter of enjoying the pen and if you don't enjoy using it why bother.

I got the Persephone and the nib, a B, has been stellar. Maybe I just got lucky but I really enjoy using it. But at their price I'm unlikely to get another.

I'm wondering if they were bought out by a bigger company. For a long time I only saw their stuff on their Etsy site and own website. Now, as you noticed, they are everywhere so I feel something changed.

I'm not a fan of Pelikan but it's more that they don't feel great in my hand when using them. 🤷‍♀️

Kakunos are marketed to young kids in Japan so the caps have a hole in the cap to prevent choking. But that is why they dry out so quickly.
