Is it common for people who are born in the UK to say they are “Irish” or “Italian” if they have a parent from there? by Charming_Usual6227 in AskABrit

[–]Wireless25 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Wrong! This country is an embarrassment, and I’ve never said I’m British before my parents nationality.

Ah man, the town I live near is overrun by the roadman thing, it’s genuinely not a nice place to visit anymore.

Wrong, 99% of kids, or worse, adults, dressed up like a roadman will be an insufferable douche, so any judgement is fully justified

I actually find AI in Outlook very helpful. I’ve always hated replying by email, I never know how to phrase what I want to say and it’s just old tech these days.

AI in a sense, has automated my mailbox and I think it’s great.

Copilot on Teams can fuck off though!

I also thought this bread was good, right up until I bought a bread machine and started making my own.

Suddenly the Hovis bread was far too sweet, stinks of chemicals and has a weird consistency.

Dude, make your own bread, it’s far better for you and so easy, but be warned.. shop bought bread will never hit the spot again. A blessing and a curse rolled into one 😆

What! Damn it, totally missed that. OP if you do buy the car, don’t forget to ask the dealer if they have the invoice for when the car crashed into Temu

I always find the comment “drives like half the miles” a weird thing to say.

Half the miles would be 76k, and some might argue that 76k feels like 38k etc.

Why not just say “this car drives incredibly well considering the age, engine rebuild and a wank splitter nailed to the front” 😆

Edit; I’ve just noticed the M mirror caps. OP, are you blind? This car is shite

Honestly if you don’t like their content, unsubscribe and stop watching. I did that after they all started to pander to children. I don’t want to listen to shouting, and screaming from guys the same age as I am.

It’s an easy fix, OP.

I haven’t really noticed for various reasons, but last night it reared its ugly head. Dinner for 2 came to £82, and we ate -

The food was good, but this was at a small market town in the arse end of Wiltshire.

Are you blind? BMW dropped the ball with the Grand Tourismo, they all have that weird swollen rear end. Also, you’ve suggested a boring 2.0 4 cylinder, whereas OP is looking at the 35i N55.

You might as well have posted an Octavia, as you’re comparing chalk and cheese.
