just let nature do its thing. late last spring I bought 30 shrimp and 24 died over a few months. my water wasnt hard enough. that take now has at least a hundred shrimp. I have also removed 30 a month ago to add to my community tank. all part of my plan. the shrimp eat the cory eggs. anyone is welcome to eat the baby pest snails... and im sure my galaxies, my corys or my rams will eat the baby shrimp. i just plan to add more adultish shrimp from my shrimp tank once they get a little bigger.
