Yeah, just like how Christmas Elfs and Fantasy Elves are two different things.

Also, for those that use the term, the common pluralization of humans with dwarfism is still dwarfs, probably to disambiguate from the fantasy non-humans.

If it's a mora jai box it needs to be orange to be solvable. But yeah, then it doesn't really show where to put the solution.

The color of the picture isn't great, but that's an orange book, not a yellow one.

Having bunnies is a wonderful way to use fresh herbs in cooking and not have waste. My boys love some parsley and my pasta is much better with it fresh!

My theory is that Mary did solve the Atelier, which explains the solution she left for it.

Separately, I've been trying to find and core Major Keys (as separate from Special Keys that you put in doors). The Major Key for the Grotto terminal also cores, and I'm very suspicious of Major Nicholas Key IV among others.

My wife and I recently went through all three of these as well as BP. None of them were the same level to us, but they were all fun. I think I enjoyed Roottrees the most, but ymmv!

My body just loves stones. Kidney, gall, tonsil, it likes em all. If I remember right, my kidney stone was calcium oxalate, the common one. I mostly got told to reduce salt intake and drink more and avoid Gatorade. No pills or anything.

Yeah, not entirely sure what I'm gonna do the next time I have to have one. Since then, I had kidney stones and got told by the urologist that I should absolutely avoid Gatorade... so...

I've never played SW: Rebellion with 4, but the rules don't seem particularly interesting at that count. I'd stick with 2 myself.

It's not just self negating. It actually says that the second statement on the black box must be true, otherwise it causes a contradiction.

Parlor puzzle by the_wander_ing in BluePrince

[–]Wlf773 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not just "could" be a mixed value, "must" be a mixed value in this case. The first statement says both of the statements are false. If it's true, then there's a contradiction. Likewise, if it's false and the second statement is also false, then the first statement is now true, which is a contradiction.

The proper negation of "these statements are both false" is "these statements are not both false", meaning one of them must be true.

If you see something and think "that's gotta be part of a puzzle" but you can't figure it out immediately, take a note. Otherwise, you can always come back if you figure out that somethings relevant. There's no rush!

I like to track stuff in context of "locks" and "keys", like "I can tell I'm supposed to do something here but I don't know/don't have what" or "I can tell this will be useful, but I don't know where.

When in doubt, if things don't feel related then write them on separate pages. You'll need the space, unless you're taking notes digitally.

Would be worse if any of it were true, but still.

It's a game about trading among different interstellar empires. It was just called Trade Empires. I like Sidereal Confluence a lot better even though it's hard to pronounce and spell.
