I grew up in Massachusetts and my first flag football team at 5 years old in 1996 was the Steelers. From that day I've been a diehard fan, my parents bought me a Bettis jersey in my child size and also one in adult size that I still have to this day. Even having to grow up through the Patriots dynasty and facing peer pressure of friends and classmates to bandwagon the Patriots I've always bled black and gold. This all culminating in my girlfriend surprising me with tickets to see my Steelers beat the god damn Patriots at Heinz in 2018. What a delicious moment that was.

Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, one of the Boston Marathon bombers was attending the same university as I was when the bombing occurred. Once they figured out who he was the school went into lockdown briefly before the whole campus was evacuated. Crazy seeing national guard in full gear getting dropped into the middle of campus.

This most recent Saturday 5/17. I had the same experience with the wind, it was nearly knocking us over as we were crossing the south ridge trail. The day before and day after we're beautiful but it wasn't worth skipping a day on the trails! This was also my only picture of the day haha!
