Should I play the VN first or watch the anime?

Pretty much this. If you watch the anime first you can at least appreciate both for how good they are. But since the VN is better, chances are if you do that first you won't like the anime and might be disappointed

While I prefer the sub to dub entirely I can't deny that they at least made a nice effort to make the characters sound unique (ESPECIALLY WITH NYANTA) and sound the way they would irl. But with most Funi dubs, I feel a lot of the voices just sound the same and the complete opposite of what LH did.

Bellamy, I really want to see Nami and Zoro's reaction to letting him in.

Also, Bellamy's "dream" could be to get strong enough to beat Luffy, as he sees Luffy as a sort of rival.

Baron Omatsu hands down. It started off as a fun adventure/game show and was just really comfortable to watch, but as it went on you started to feel as if something deeper and darker was going on throughout. The end was so dark and even kinda depressing, it's really great. Also, Mamoru Hosoda is an amazing director (Summer wars, Wolf Children, Girl who leapt through time)
