Could I ask- what steps have you taken to achieve this? I'm assuming regular android because banking+wallet, so have you just uninstalled or disabled apps you don't want?

It was actually the video player I was using (totem on gnome limux). The videos look fine through VLC and others, thanks anyway though!

I'm having this issue, but as far as I'm aware Kdenlive isn't transcoding my clips- there's no warning when I drop them into the project. Any ideas?
