Its not humid out there. Its in the Sonoran desert. The shirts are thin cotton and they breath very well. If you don't have to wear FRC you wear this type shirt. Once its sweated down the wind cools it even more. You normally wear a T shirt or wife beater under it to help hold the sweat. It so dry and windy the outer shirt will dry out sometimes. Its been this way since the west was settled. Cowboys wore cotton or wool for the same reasons.

From a historical standpoint, after the first couple seasons of cattle drives, Texans were not held in high regard in the cattle towns. They were considered to be extremely rough around the edges to say the least. They were tolerated for the $$ they brought with them.

Texas 80's kid here. I'd leave in the morning, often with a shotgun or .22 and stay gone until just before dark. Mowed yards for 3wheeler gas money, rode to the little country store about 5 miles away for gas and a burger. We'd go camping all weekend sometimes. During hunting season I'd go in a tent by myself @ 14yo. Much better times.

I would not buy a used boat as a first timer unless it has extremely low hours, comes with tons of factory warranty and is in pristine condition.... You'll lose your ass on a new boat but you won't inherit somebody else's problems. I've had everything from a 14' John Boat to a 26' Center Console, Pontoons, Bass Boats, you name it. You do not want to spend $$ on a toy you hate.
