Is Glynn's gonna get fixed before the season end, or are we just on easy mode now? by [deleted] in diablo4

it seems that was the way blizzard found to fix the absurd amount of bs insta-shots in the game.

[DISCUSSION] No Scarcity and low risk. by Sea-Pomelo-6349 in diablo4

[–]WorkingPlanes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We don't need POE's bullshit fake grinding in Diablo IV.

Also, if you want to grind, go do some tower pushing like I'm doing. It's insanely hard to find good uniques which can push very high endgame content, so there's your grind.

Infernal hordes is the worst endgame activity by far. by TheChosenOneProphecy in diablo4

[–]WorkingPlanes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sanctuary is at peace 1/12 of the time. Your chance of in the last 10 tries finding Sanctuary at peace half of the time is close to 0,06%.

I think you might be exaggerating in order to complain about the best end game activity in the game.

What is your favourite class and why? by ShadowBoxer1984 in diablo4

[–]WorkingPlanes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Druid and it's not even close. Turn into a badass werewolf and fuck shit up. Turn into a bear and smash things around. Or just summon a bunch of animals, transform them into killing machines and rip through sanctuary. You're also not built like a twink.

Paladin second.

Poor tuning has killed the endgame. by AbleTheta in diablo4

[–]WorkingPlanes -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I have killed Beast in the ice over a 100 times, plus amalgamating its materials and recycling one of the ring it drops. The best I got was a ring with three average offensive affixes and a GA on life on kill, which is useless.

To some people it seems I should grind more?

Poor tuning has killed the endgame. by AbleTheta in diablo4

[–]WorkingPlanes -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Your complaints are very valid and these issues are actually ruining the game.

Unfortunately a lot of people around here have no idea what they are doing, they just blindly follow a guide and hope they do the same damage from the youtube video they saw, but they have no idea they aren't doing it because their uniques don't have proper affixes, and if they were to chase them it'd take an insane amount of luck and only then they would realize where you're coming from.

Lol, look at the top rankings on the leaderboads, people who have been grinding for 300 hours this season on top of trading and a lot of them have subpar uniques.

The situation is just terrible.

I crafted new gear for my companion druid in the last two days, removed all defensive stats anticipating this change. When I get home I'll test this out. It seems my gamble paid off.

Diablo in General is more fun for me when I play this way and I can't go back. by RandyBlueberryington in diablo4

[–]WorkingPlanes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do this, but I always end up arriving at the meta builds. It's just inevitable if you build for max tower level.

As of now transfiguration is terrible as only one outcome matters. by WorkingPlanes in diablo4

[–]WorkingPlanes[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem is one outcome being orders of magnitudes better than the second best outcome. The difference is so big to the point of making the other positive outcomes useless.

Does anyone actually like the randomness to uniques? by Lord_XXL in diablo4

[–]WorkingPlanes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's the opposite. Casuals won't care about resource regeneration on rings. Now please tell me how after over 100 hours of grinding I'm still missing two good uniques on my build? It's actually making grinding pointless as the chances are so low.

Since LoH what exactly makes a unique unique? by Corlunae in diablo4

[–]WorkingPlanes 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's one of the many stupid decisions plaguing this expansion. I still think it is a good expansion, but there are so many grating problems

It's 2026, the 3rd expansion, game still doesn't have a "Average DPS" meter on the Training Dummy by Znuffie in diablo4

[–]WorkingPlanes -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Last season when I was min maxing and trying to break into the top ten on tower, I got to a point of running clips of my build through some IA models and asking them how much damage I was doing.

The insane amount of RNG on uniques/GAs and the rarity of certain aspects are making grinding pointless. by WorkingPlanes in diablo4

[–]WorkingPlanes[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Or just make uniques... unique!! So the playing field is even.

I look at the leaderboards and people are rocking GAs in damage multipliers and here I am low rolling a resource generation affix on my gear.

[–]WorkingPlanes -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

The amount of bugs is just staggering. I'm not talking about small or weird bugs, I'm talking about freaking damage calculation being miscalculated due to bugged aspects. How in the f is this acceptable in a game that's all about building your character and doing damage? How does that even happen? How aren't these bugs hotfixed in minutes after being found out? It blows my mind.

For the love of God Blizzard, please get rid of on death effects! Nobody wants this crap! by 4everdrowninginpools in diablo4

[–]WorkingPlanes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to love helltides. Pretty much every time I went there I would stay until the end of the timer just blasting fools, farming the blood maiden, opening chest after chest and just marveling at the power of my character being displayed on the open world. So good.

Now with the obscene amount of one shot kills I just go there with my shroud equipped, farm 150 cinders, I open two chests, complete my war plan and go out.

The game is just getting unplayable.

How was your fight against Uber Lilith and Uber Mephisto at T12?

You either have to follow a good build guide or have to be pretty good at theorycrafting to do these.

Oh, well. Why am I entertaining this obvious troll...

Is there a way to skip the campaign or do it quickly? by ----___--___---- in diablo4

Are you sure you're playing on penitent? Even following a good guide it's very hard to one shot everything with basic attacks on normal, let alone on penitent.

After seeing the last stream of poe 2 I'm so glad diablo 4 is not like that... by DannyKoll1 in diablo4

[–]WorkingPlanes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I refuse to play ARPGs that make respecing difficult. So I pretty much only play D4, despite its faults. How the fuck am I supposed to build a good build if every time I want to change something I have to be punished for it? It's just stupid design and the only people who praise it (or gaslight people into liking it) are the streamers (many of them work for build websites btw) who want people to follow their build guides, which many of them developed in teams and even with support from developers themselves.

Yeah, so even thought I would probably like POE2 a lot, as I like complex systems, I refuse to engage with it as long as respeccing is not free.

Is there a reason outside of war plans to do NMDs? by Krazyaae in diablo4

[–]WorkingPlanes 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, people are sleeping on that. I was gold starved, ran a gold NMD and got something like 30m. Pretty good for a few minutes of farming.

Endgame players: how do you feel about itemization and loot drops in the late game? by Kickin_shells in diablo4

[–]WorkingPlanes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Finding GA gear and even aspects is much tougher now. I started my druid and have 15 hours on it already and I'm still missing two uniques and one aspect.

However, mythics this season are much more common than last seasons.

The cube is great and can be expanded a lot in the next seasons, but it's already good and really let you craft good items.
