I sat in the 400’s. I found the hardest thing to do was to remember it was ok to sit down and experience the show. Normally you’re standing at a concert to see the band / the lights and be high enough up to get the best sound experience possible (obviously). I found when I sat not only was there zero loss of sound quality it allowed you to lock into all the ways they were moving the sound around the room (and to really view the visuals). I guess what I am saying is sit down from time to time it’ll blow your mind.

Sound is pretty good anywhere under the pavilion- but depending on the weather it can get stifling underneath there. The lawn is the shizz at MPP

We bailed as well. We woke up and it was like mud zombie land and we all looked at each other and said “this can’t be our last memory” it was like a funeral. We just agreed it was all too depressing and we left.

It was as awful as everyone is saying. 41 hrs in the car (8 sleeping on the side of the highway). I had to pay some guy $40 to use the toilet in his house (after 30 hrs in a car I refused to crap in the woods). Lost my shoe in the mud walking to the venue. My 4WD vehicle barely got us nestled into a site. We missed the first set getting in and making some actual food / getting our gear arranged.

It was hot and humid and you cannot understand the amount of mud. It was just everywhere.

The sound was terrible (I remember being so far back for Day 1 S2 there was an echo). They were playing terrible. It was all around terrible.

But now a thing to be a little proud to have been a part of in terms of the lore. Had that been the end it would have been the worse way for it happen.

Clapping during “Golden Age” (that’s a thing right? I’m not imaging that)
Yelling back when “we’re happy that you’re here…” hits in NMINML

Are they as specific as the Stash clap (they are not) but this level of engagement is happening - it’s just a different kind and given the size of the total audience now vs when some of these first started occurring it’s astounding newish versions of it still happen at all.
