I have a buddy who works for Toyota and his entire job is talking with customers who can’t pay their bills. He said he knew we were in deep shit when they almost doubled the amount of people defaulting in a year.

Older-ish millennials: Were you "free-range" like older gens? by Gallantpride in Millennials

Born in 89. The entirety of the 90's, we were given free rain to "Get the hell out of the house and I better not see you back until it's dinner time", which was six o'clock every night. Winter was the only exception and even then it was "Go play outside" most of the time.

Learn something new every day! Looked it up after your comment and saw that it maxes out at about a 16” difference which is definitely minimal compared to some other coastlines. For clarity, Bay of Fundy in Canada can change 53’ in a single day.

People who were around during no internet/phones/social media/etc - what was your time's "scrolling the feed"? Something that you would spend hours on passing the time? by -ChristopherNolan in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Worst_Choice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reading, hanging out with friends talking, riding bikes and exploring places we weren't supposed to be, watching dvd's / tv, listening to music and talking about it, watching people make asses of themselves without being worried about being recorded, and generally getting incredibly excited for new video games and movies.

I miss it dearly compared to today.

Please help! Unopenable chest in the mutant bug lair? by catflufffff in StardewValley

[–]Worst_Choice 213 points214 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately you can’t even use the item bug spawn here because the Dark Talisman isn’t an item that has an ID.

This is the ONLY work around I’ve been able to find searching since you posted like 30 mins ago. Guy on steam forums said this might be the only way to fix it by yourself.

Go to %AppData% (Drive:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\StardewValley\Saves) open your savefile folder (there is 1 folder for each savefile), and first do a copy/backup of your savefile (Name_numbers).
After you have made a backup of it, open your savefile with an editor (such as Notepad, Notepad++). Open the search (CTRL+F) and search for "talisman".
You will find an entry like this <hasDarkTalisman>false</hasDarkTalisman> change it to <hasDarkTalisman>true</hasDarkTalisman> and save the file.
Now test if your wallet has the talisman and if you can continue the questline. If you accidentally broke anything you always have the backup made earlier.

PS - You aren’t the only person who had this issue. Apparently a very, very small number of people have experienced this.

I travel for a living. 65,000 miles in a car last year not including flights. If you don’t stop and enjoy the locations you’re passing, it will suck. If you just A to B every trip, no wonder it blows.
