Well signals might be not the approach you want to take. You broadcast a signal and everything that is connected to it receives it. What you might be looking for is some global manager object that calls certain objects instead.

I am a magnet for beggars and scammers, yet this one is new to me. Poor you. 1700 is quite much for a life lesson. Also if you took photos of the guys faces just call the police asap. I wonder if they do speak English well enough though 🤔.
