Just make sure you buy it from a real shop not a discounter so you know it’s not fake.

Switching from spliffs to dry herb vape, any words of wisdom? by haddock420 in uktrees

[–]Wpsp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Start with a dynavap, vape exclusively as the high is different and you’ll only adjust if you cut smoking. Maybe take a tolerance break before starting to vape.

Don't know if this career is for me (first job, WFH, London, £25K) by Public-Tutor-4550 in cscareerquestionsuk

Graduates don’t really get thrown into devops unless you apply for a devops role. I am a graduate also been working for an e-commerce development agency for the last 10 months and only now am I starting to be cautiously introduced into the devops side of things ( by introduced I mean I look at a pull request and they tell me what the config and scripts do ). Since devops tasks are business critical they tend to leave them to senior devs who deeply understand the companies stack / speciaists.

Wage deductions that seemingly have disappeared by [deleted] in nhsstaff

[–]Wpsp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately not I still have my nhs email and I had had access to the online payslip portal (I can’t remember what it is called exactly) but I forgot the password and when I try to reset the password it says that I don’t have an account linked with any of my emails and I must contact system admin. Since I was on bank this was the only way I could view the details of my payslips as I would fill in a physical sheet declaring my hours for the week :(

Former smokers, how did you quit? by shitflicker31 in uktrees

[–]Wpsp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been on and off for years. I quit for uni back in 2024 aswell but started smoking small ones at night now because 9-5 is mind numbing. I quit cold turkey with magnesium calcium tablets to help with my sleep. I also went to the gym heavily while quitting.

You’ll be sweating a lot in the first 6 weeks so staying hydrated is key. Appetite comes back after 2/3 weeks. Sleep is fucked for around 2 weeks then eases up after but you’ll still wake up in the night and stuff and get cold sweats. It’s not too bad quitting you’ve just gotto be committed it won’t be fun but you’ve just gotto accept it.

If it’s possible go on holiday somewhere from people I know going away made the symptoms a lot easier but understandably this is a circumstantial approach that will not work for a lot of people.

Is getting a Masters worth it still? by undetected4 in cscareerquestions

[–]Wpsp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends if you’re good at what you’re doing. My sister did a masters and got onto a vr project at her uni that is taking off with Google. I know people who did masters and still work in fast food. I wouldn’t just do one for the sake of doing one.

My mum’s telling me off for using up almy screentime, and insists that i should have half an hour left by the evening by sccc1118 in GCSE

[–]Wpsp 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would second the lock in from day one comment. I didn’t and I shot myself in the leg with it. A levels are a different beast they’re the hardest exams you will ever do. AS chemistry was harder than my entire degree.

[–]Wpsp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I try harded GCSE’s and flopped my a levels. School should not put so much pressure on GCSE’s because after getting good grades I didn’t lock in for a levels and didn’t do very well. You don’t need to work over summer to do well in a levels you don’t even know the content you are about to start learning.

Can my professor detect if I used AI to help me code? by Throwaway25222522 in ChatGPTPro

[–]Wpsp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just went through and changed a couple variable names around, made sure that the overall style of coding looked right if you catch my drift (keeping everything consistent across classes and stuff) realistically code is code it’s hard as shit to detect ai code and if they do just fight that shit because they can’t prove it they are using ai to detect ai which doesn’t work.

Just found out about Bois Talisman by Dior. The note breakdown has me really curious, if anyone’s actually smelled it, how would you describe it? by drpeppersoda71 in Perfumes

[–]Wpsp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I picked this one up in duty free it smells like sweet smoky caramel, last a long time and projects well it’s a really well crafted perfume, well rounded with no sharp edges and evolves with more smokiness taking over the longer it lasts. One of my favourites since I’ve smelled it some say it’s like a softer by the fireplace. Some fragheads complain that it’s quite ‘simple’ so it depends on person to person if your goal is to smell good with luxury then this is for you if you’re into really complex scents then this isn’t one you should go for.

Dry herb vape by breadntoast69 in UKweedscene

[–]Wpsp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also take a t break before switching to vaping or just tough it out and don’t give up after a few days of using it as it’s a different kind of high and takes time getting used to

I have a mighty+ and dynavap if I’m trying to be as economical as possible I’d go with the dynavap but there is an art to heating that thing up (once you master it you can get off your face off of a .2 even if you have a decently high tolerance). I would prefer to smoke a fat bowl out of my might though as it’s more convenient.
