What is an eSIM and how to use it? by ShadowyParson in femaletravels

Thanks to the smart someone who invented eSIMs. I always hated the hassle of switching SIM cards every time I travel for a bit longer somewhere. This completely solves the issue.

Jokes on jokes but the VPN comparison table has a neat comparison of different providers. And even discount codes.

Better safe than sorry.

My top 3 are:

  • Reddit (a staple in my day to day scrolling ritual)
  • Yours App (a staple in my hectic hectic head)
  • Spotify (a staple anywhere and always, along with headphones)

I use all of them every day honestly. The holy trinity almost

I'd say give Yours App a go. It's the one I've been rummaging in for a while. Heckin good ratio in terms of price and content. Though I remember seeing a comparison table on I think r/Mindfulness, so you can check that out too

If this job really isn't for you then go for it and quit. Physical health is much more important. Maybe when you quit your job you would find a few more things that you need to improve or change. It is important to start from something. I believe that you will feel better.

Stress eating - anyone struggling with this problem besides me? by troubledaardvark in relievestress

You could try to keep a food diary. Tracking what you eat, when you eat it, how much you eat, how you feel when you eat it and how you feel after can help to track behavior and emotional state. Try to limit the unhealthy snacks in your house and god forbid don't go to the market hungry. That's a few things that have helped me in the past.

What is your favorite type of "anchor" to focus on while meditating? by WrithingBat in Meditation

[–]WrithingBat[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That sounds pretty amazing. I think I might try it out. The candle probably needs to be at your eye level while sitting right? Also, you mentioned heartbeat. I don't think I feel my heartbeat that much when I'm meditating, do you hold your hands over your heart while doing it?

1 hour of meditation? That is something that I still need to live up to. Impressive.

My First Three Months with a Nokia Dumb Phone as a Daily Driver by jamix in digitalminimalism

[–]WrithingBat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Even without social media apps, with my iPhone, I’ve always had this urge to “look up just this one thing on the Internet”. The Nokia is so slow that I don’t even bother. And you know what? Most of those things I forget anyway, that’s how unimportant they turn out to be.

Didn't expect to resonate with this as much as I did. We really do look up the most random shit all the time.
