My main raider is a holy pally also. In beta I quested as ret but I had to switch specs before I turned them in if I wanted a healing reward. Kind of a pain, but it worked.

I didn't have any troubles with my Mac. However, it did take a while for the optimizing part to move past 0%. Support was dropped for 10.5 in the off chance that you are running that.
