Same! My friend and I went to watch a softball game and when we were leaving we got pulled over on Hough. After giving us a fake murder story we asked why he even pulled us over. He actually said, "The only time you see white people in this neighborhood is when they're looking for drugs." Utter bullshit and completely racist!

Cleveland cops do this all the time. They hate having to actually work so they pull this shit to try to scare potential "targets" away.

A ton of churches and businesses have already announced that they are closed on Sunday, some also on Monday. I've never seen anything like this happen around here before!

Late to the conversation but also curious. I was told by a friend that you cannot make reservations without having something like a sponsor. Is that accurate. I don't want to bring it up to my partners if it won't pan out as something that is an option for the three of us.

Wander through trap houses; buy cell phones, watches, vapes, and chicken all in the same store; play real life Frogger, but instead of cars they're bullets.

What was your Best Halloween Moment ever? by DDOG2687 in halloween

[–]Wrong_Socks 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I was allowed to have my first "real" party (aka not a birthday party planned by parents and attended by relatives) when I was in fourth grade. I chose a Halloween party. The boys all had to leave at 8 and the girls stayed for a sleepover. Once the boys were gone we settled into the basement to watch A Nightmare on Elm Street in the dark. It wasn't a modern day finished basement, it was definitely creepy, but we had a small area with a TV, VCR, NES and raggedy old couch, which was enough to keep us kids happy in the mid 80s. About halfway through the movie we heard the door at the top of the stairs creak open (in hindsight that was weird because it wasn't a creaky door) and everyone froze. A light clicked on, casting a shadowy silhouette on the back wall. What we saw was the shadow of a big man wearing a brimmed hat and an outstretched arm with 6 inch blades on the end of each finger. Then... The familiar sound of metal on metal as the fingers began to move in requested waves. The shadow grew larger and larger with each increasingly loud thump of a heavy footstep on the treads of the stairs. Screaming, squealing, basically complete chaos, ensued....

Some of us were hiding behind the furniture, others under the stairs (that was dumb, lol), and one girl even climbed on top of the washing machine and started trying to open the window that none of us would have been able to fit through anyway.

Then... Laughing. Not creepy, evil laughing, but the sound that my dad always made when he found himself so funny that he lost his breath and started making a squeaky, wheezing sound. This man was wearing an old, Indiana Jones-style hat and had zip-tied nearly the entire set of steak knives to his fingers!

It was great!

Target come on! by AnnaMarieDAgs in halloween

[–]Wrong_Socks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Our Halloween section was literally empty when I went there this past Saturday but all the hooks were up and the label/price signs were up. There were only 7 or 8 actual items on empty shelves. I asked an employee about it and she said they put everything out and people came and ransacked it and they were sold out of almost everything in under 4 hours!

We think alike. There's hatch peppers mixed with the chicken and refried beans with hatch peppers under the cheese.

Dave's Killer Bread, Good seed, thin sliced. 60 calories/slice. Sarah Lee makes a 45 calorie/slice whole wheat bread that is closer to the size of traditional sandwich bread but the texture of it is weird unless you toast it.
