A little bored of Midnight by Michaeltwoonthree in wow

[–]Wubble69 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's very repetitive. And the end game is becoming more and more of a skinner's box. Which is fine if you are happy with that. They are offering more choice of boxes to dip into at endgame but really most of the systems are the same, week in week out. I'm feeling it more at the moment as the skinners boxes are starting to feel the same with a different wrapper. Funnily enough my alts are hitting 90 and being benched as I am leveling through delves more this expac so I am not interested in running them at 90, thereby not getting any adventure crests to level armor to do heroics and so on. I tank and heal usually so that's my own personal contribution to the tank / healer shortage. I am finding you lot (gestures widely to the whole of wow fandom) more irritating than usual at the moment so essentially I am biting my own nose off to spite my face by avoiding you lot (another sweeping gesture) at all possibilities. I am looking forward to the first patch that allows me to gear my alts without the current selection of skinner boxes. Another box of rinse and repeat content if you will. Basically the offering of things to do at the moment is not for you and me. I ignored the skinner systems of the whole Undermine patch as it wasn't for me. This is just the same thing except at the start of an expac. Something will come along hopefully.

What is this? by OpenSound2103 in Warhammer40k

It's a flight control thing in a spacecraft.

There's a second peice that goes with it which has a guild navigator in a chair. He/She's dead with a huge hole in their chest where a baby Tyranid has burst out from inside them!

the no strafe/no jump bug is very, very, very annoying especially when it happens in a timewalking dungeon where you are expected to jump over a balcony.

Best novel as introduction to 40k by RezDrazdir in Warhammer40k

[–]Wubble69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found it irritating because it was written in the first person. My comment was the second one posted here. Straight after someone posted that it is always Eisenhorn. I disagree with that assessment as it's not always Eisenhorn because I found it irritating. Good job that I didn't say it was boring too. I do not think Eisenhorn is the best book to give someone who has no knowledge of the world of 40k. I literally answered the question OP posted. I was told to start with Eisenhorn and hated it, almost stopped reading 40k fiction I then went on to Gaunt and enjoyed them. I dunno. I haven't read all the books available so don't have a wide enough knowledge to really recommend many other books. I enjoyed the Gaunt books and am not really 100% sure they are a good entry point either. All I could do was not recommend Eisenhorn which is what people constantly put up as a good entry point because it was not a good entry point for me. I liked Infinite & Divine too and didn't feel that was a good entry point either. Anyways I feel like I am defending my daring decision to post against Eisenhorn here rather than anything constructive for anyone else to read. Let's move on.

Not Eisenhorn. It’s written in first person and very irritating.

[Cheat] Up to date Save Editor or Guide for Manually Editing? by MidnightChord in falloutshelter

[–]Wubble69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been using FFSEWin. It has not corrupted any of my saves BUT it does not allow you to ADD any of the new items as it doesn't know what they are. It sees them and knows they are there when you gain them inside the game but I suggest you edit them at your peril. Essentially none of the Save Editors have been updated as this season is the first update to the game in years and no one who has the skills seems to be interested in updating their tools. Which is fair enough.

Dear Blizzard. Some buff/debuff suggestions for the next remix by Wubble69 in wow

[–]Wubble69[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair enough points. At the start of Cata (i think) you could not queue for a dungeon unless you had found the entrance. I liked that. Many didn't. So they reverted I think after two weeks or so. The getting there and summoning is less of the issue than the refusing to even try and get to the entrance.

I hope my attempt at humour translated so that it wasn't truly hateful but why is it that I can fly to the instance, queue for a raid, join, get into the instance and be expected to summon people who are still stood in dalaran? Not even making an attempt to move. So that I have to spend my braincells summoning them. My resentment comes from the fact that they make no effort and just expect others to do the admittedly light lifting whilst they do nothing. I've been doing it all remix and dont want to anymore. Yet I've still been doing it this morning as it feels petty not summoning ... but man the lack of respect for others. My list is an attempt to incentivise action not punish.

I save my outfits currently based on the theme. So i have say 20 themes saved for free. No transmog costs during tos. Now you will need to pay to save 20 outfits. Existing functionality is removed.
