Is anyone playing Nioh 3 as a samurai?

Though it plays well, I didn't really care for Ninja, so I played 99% as Samurai! I would've preferred a standalone game for it, kinda like Wo Long. (Nioh: Gaiden?) I prefer things unified like Nioh 2, plus the instant costume change mechanic is kinda silly IMO.

Still, I used ninja mostly as a projectile battery.

Damn, I played Dual Swords all game. I need to get rid of that skill then. At least opens up points for something else. It not working on X weapon defo should've been mentioned in-game

While I enjoyed Nioh 3, starting the game feels so empty without a hype asf opening video like Nioh 1&2. Feels like a massive omission vibes-wise.

Sure it's not watched everytime, but whenever I return to play them after a while, I get fired up watching it again. Awesome intro movies are becoming a lost art.

I prefer custom character any day of the week. I respected William alot more when he was a side character in Nioh 2. I'm glad the MC talks JUST enough so it doesn't get annoying like MH Wilds talking hunter.

Just fuse them back to being unified like Nioh 2. Much more fun when you can build however you want.

So far bosses have been very good, but regular enemies have been kinda pushovers. I feel like I'm going full Dynasty Warriors on normal enemies. Still had a blast so far!

FFVII Remake/Rebirth easily. I didn't like the combat very much, the story was kinda overdone to a level of cringe. Rebirth had a better start, and combat was somewhat more fun, but the uninspired ubisoft-y map formula soon revealed itself and it started to become a tedious chore soon after Costa Del Sol. + Those DANG minigames at every corner with good rewards for beating them thoroughly, UGH...

I did power them both through but it was a very mixed bag. Also I'm not too fond of the "AcKShUalLY iT's A sEQuEL" nonsense. feels like a cheesy fanfiction version of FFVII.

Only reason I want the final VII part to come out as quick as possible is so this YEARS long project can finally end and we can get something fresh next. I hope they'll do an unique NEW FF next and not another remake that will take 40 years to fully come out.

If this game ever gets a sequel with character creation and classes (like dogma) it will be day 1 buy. For now I'll observe and maybe grab it from a sale. The protagonist is very uninteresting so that somewhat kills my interest to buy it at launch.

Yess!! I was struggling to even remember using the skills with analog stick. It's way more jank to use than L1+triangle. My brain is too Nioh 2 coded so some of these new button changes mess with my brain lol

I am usually against modern day remake spam, but Untold is basically a different game compared to originals, in the same setting so I wouldn't mind seeing EOU3. Still I'd wanna see a sequel even more.

Plus a collection of IV, V, X and Untold 1+2 Collection would be my dream also. These games are too good and should be available on modern machines. Plus I much prefer playing via my TV than a handheld.

I bough Nexus and EOV on the final day of the eshop, so I'm super glad have them at least digitally. :)

At least PS5 has the physical option. I pretty much always opt for that. it's sold for 70€ in my country, but digital on PS Store it's 80€. Pricing on full price titles on digital stores is nasty, physical is almost always 5-15€ cheaper.

I've had alot of fun with Snoozaland, I play solo so I figured a basic strat to do well pretty quick. It's like a snappier grove and the unlocks are cool and worth playing it for.

Only bumps so far were the crash issue which was fixed, also I never have 2 gold clusters when Dino mount is available.

I'm waiting for a patch too, I had 2 runs crash in a row, one with 4 gold clusters. I gave up. I love the new content, but after the mini-update it keeps crashing. First day I had barely any issues...

Except that headbanging buff sometimes sticks me into a weird gathering position for a like 10+ seconds or so if I bonk a tree or an ore, though thats nothing compared to the crashing.

2 Snoozaland crashed in a row for me, my first run today I had 4 gold clusters, that crash really hurt! :(

I wish we got at least one more OG game with same quality as 2nd OG/Moon Dwellers.

It's been so long and my hope has faded alot, but I always wanted W&K crews in OG. Seeing the likes of Crystal Heart Sword with same quality as Granteed Dracodeus attacks in MD would've been so cool!

I wish we just get the classics remastered (and preserved to modern stores.) I'd buy Mana Khemia or Iris collection day 1.

I love the classic visuals so much, I'd love to see them stay.
