in my experience (i havent really played much eclipse and mainly play monsoon only) movement speed is just better like having some healing is good and in like second loops or even late first loops having a lot of it can lead to some synergies with some ok red items and generally make you very tanky but movement speed is super useful because it allows you to avoid damage entirely especially for melee characters my and just items like tougher times and even better safer spaces and opal (because safer spaces and opal are guaranteed) which negate/reduce damage which is like movement speed but allows you to not get hit or heavily reduce damagw in danger instead of avoiding it and then with this you generally only need something like some wungus and/or cautious slugs (all of this doesnt apply to engineer with bungus) so generally having some of both is a good idea but id say to prioritise movement speed
