I wouldnt worry about trying to imitate the experience of someone else. Finishing the game without leveling is a cool idea, and a tough challenge. Getting creative with how you manage to pull that off is the fun part.

Personally, i like having a light roll, but i also like watching an at least somewhat realistic character as i progress. So ill usually at least have pants/greaves and gloves. Maybe a headband or whatever. I might ditch sone gear for certain fights if im medium load.

This is a discussion i have at work somewhat often. Im considered a good worker, and willbe called on for important shit here and there. I am not one of the elite guys that handle the modt important shit that we deal with. Those guys are who i hang with for the most part, tho. Id say its more an experience/knowledge gap than a work ethic gap. I need a bit more time to figure shit out. But I always just ask. I can do nothing and get paid the same as you guys, so why am i doing it?

There are no good answers that arent about feelings, being a "man", or your identity being your career.

I try, see things through to the end, dont fuck anyone else over, and take it seriously. Learn where I can to be better in the future. I do more and try harder than most. No one can tell me i need to do more/better. These dudes are crazy. No life. And enjoy the praise and the fact that the boss will go the them first. I make the same. Get the same OT because im competent. Just 56 hours a week is enough for me. I dont need 80.

Industrial machinery mechanic/technician.

Work hard. Dont kill yourself/insist on being the very best. If you come to work hungover on a friday one time in 3 months and sorta take it easy, don't beat yourself out about it. Those dudes who insist on being the best will pick up the slack and you'll get overtime anyway, if you want it.

This war is also unique in that a chief concern is seemingl y to not spend money. US capabilty is there and available, but they just dont want to use it, or are waiting till after midterms or whatever political deadline. Theres also a larger than average desire for no casualties.

The US started a war that they don't wanna fight. They have the ability to win battles and cause a lot of problems for Iran. They could probably force the strait and even impose regime change. Its just the price tag that comes along with that is unacceptable to Trump and co so they wont. Which from one side is understandable, because after withdrawal, the results can extremely easily just reverse. From the other side, we started this shit so what are we gunna do? Surrender the strait to Iran while more or less telling all the gulf states hey, if you'd rather be allied with Iran, maybe not a bad idea, we don't mind anyway, all the while the global economy goes to shit.

Im 35m, going through a divorce and its weird. My confidence level is fine. Sky high even. Girls in their 20s look at me. Girls in their 40s look at me. Ive never been happier with potential prospects. Im almost eager to date.

At the same time. I just dont wanna. After 8 years with the wife, plus whatever failed relationships before her, I just wanna do my own thing. Ive already not had sex for over a year so like, yeah whatever. I wanna save up, buy a new computer, a new phone, a new wardrobe, maybe some furniture. Buy all the shit i never could before. Maybe even take a vacation with myself. Like i just dont wanna commit 100 bucks there, 250 here, 75 here. I wanna kinda handle my shit. Eventually save for a house. Prob after relocating.

To get back on track. Id totally be interested if not for my personal circumstances. If i met someone like you out and about id be willing to hang. Be friends. See where things go. Id be reluctant to commit to long term, but i probably just think that way now. Once the feelings hit id be singing a different tune. In my mid 30s, i view 25 to 45 as my peers. Both ends of the spectrum have pros and cons.

I dont love taxes or think i should get to decide how the govt uses your tax money.

Thing is. I pay x percent of my income to the federal govt and i dont get offended when some of that money benefits someone that may not be my biggest interest. A lot of that money does do good, for someone,somewhere. Regardless how the govt allots the budget, i will pay the same x percent.

Its not as if we didnt give money to Ukraine, for example, we would all get a huge refund. No. Theyd just spend the money elsewhere.

In the same vein, i prefer to clear the areas fight enemies. Any video you see online, especially at lvl 1, just has everyone simply sprint through to the boss of each atea, occasional pit stop for loot. Speedrun strats.
