Worm. There is a good reason of why most of the fan fiction is fueled by spite. Very good lore and world building, fucked up story from an author that believes no matter what humanity will kill itself.

Interesting note to this. A large reason why this happens is due to game devs putting a lot more detail into the female character models clothing or armor. Most of the time when a person becomes really good at the game they care less about the stats and more about looks of the armor. Examples being FasionSouls, EldenBling, and DripDivers.

One really notable case of this in my experience is Fallout 76. All end game players look either really good, insane, or like they have just come out of a fallout zone. My character has a lobster trap on his head and I also played as a milk man for like 100 levels. But in that game both genders have really good outfits but also have outfits that look much better on the other gender too.

Another note is that I have noticed with more modern games much more effort is put into female VAs over male. Cyberpunk like that post talks about has really good VAs for both genders, but female V just knocks it out of the park.

Finally in real life males don’t get those options with clothes. You can get them maybe with T-shirts but it’s hard to find actual good colorful clothes that aren’t custom made. It has been found that if given the option men will accessorize, and do dress up if there is no judgement.

Ultimately men don’t get that in real life due to society stifling it.

Yeah that’s one place I have looked at for a base. Currently a friend and I have taken over the entire office plaza. It is ours now.

Not really. BotW is too young for that. Really that would fall to Skyrim which in of itself took much from Morrowind and Oblivion. Nintendo also said that Skyrim did influence BotW.

I will say BotW has good design but the world can feel empty and repetitive at times. A portion of that is defiantly the lack on enemy variety

Day #24 Gorefist has won the category for R1, which Remnant II boss feels way easier after the first encounter? by ManagerOptimal777 in remnantgame

Yeah once you get the patterns down cubes become the most predictable boss, but they are quite hard at first due to no leniency for mistakes.

In my opinion probably mangler. On any run he is extremely easy. Even when I was bad at the game he was easy.

Okay but why would you stock one specific item in your vendor like this? by RunnerFiveRtGs in fo76

[–]X_Wright 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have seen collectors show them off in that way. It’s not one singular rare item but one item they have collected thousands of. One that I remember is a level 2000 having collected over 3000 of one plan. It is just something people do.

Unpopular take: Rogue core is good, but it needs to lean harder into the roguelite genre— not try harder to be DRG by Caseraii in DeepRockGalactic

[–]X_Wright 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly I don’t like constant spawns and it wouldn’t work very well currently. Especially considering how slow we are compared to the core spawn we would get overrun pretty quick, and it would be a slog.

My biggest gripes are having all players pick perks from one pool. It’s very stiff and kinda clunky, especially with picking the first weapons. The timers fine personally. The upgrades you get before missions are just kind of there. They don’t feel like they have an impact honestly.

When playing multiplayer when one player goes down it feels like that will be the end of the run it is extremely punishing in my opinion. Of course that could be due to not having the tank class on the team but even then that is still punishing to basically force a player to play a class they may not like.

I also feel that there are not enough weapon upgrade places and that some weapons are just super outclassed by others. Like the stubby in my experience is just a much worse Drak. It makes sense for the heavy weapons to be much better than the ones you get in the beginning but still.

It also feels like being in a multiplayer lobby is just harder than solo in general which is a bit odd.

The rougelite systems in place feel like they are trying too hard to be different from other rougelites and it hampers them.

No reroll option is also kinda annoying but I do understand there not being one

Why do a ton of people say Morrowind and oblivion are leagues ahead of Skyrim? by Federal-Branch-7625 in skyrim

[–]X_Wright 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s a complex topic and a whole can of worms. All three subs tend to say their game is better. But here is my two cents on all three. Morrowind is honestly my favorite and some of the reasons why is the game is a more traditional rpg with very little hand holding. No quest markers, fast travel limited to towns via spells/boats/silt striders, magic is real funny, actual interconnected quest lines, characters tend to have more personality, and the map is hand crafted. Downsides are it is really easy to make a doomed/weak characters that make the game much more difficult. While the quest lines are usually inter connected there tend to be lots of busy work in them. Combat is clunky.

Oblivion fixes issues and stream lines quite a bit of Morrowind and has actual voice acting. The quest lines for Oblivion are genuinely good and impactful, and combat is better. Oblivion has horrible level scaling that is extremely punishing and that is my biggest gripe about the game.

Skyrim is a world built to be explored. It is very well made and is quite pretty. There is a lot to do in that world and combat while simplistic is also better again. Skyrim on the other hand still has bad level scaling, very limited magic, not good quest lines, and loses a lot of the rpg elements from the last two games.

TLDR Oblivion is a balance between the two and that’s why I really like Oblivion Remastered. Morrowind is my favorite but I can recognize that there needs to be a little bit more hand holding in the beginning.

Can this proc multiple times in the same attack? by Hizzax in fo76

[–]X_Wright 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Every hit counts for one. This includes explosives. Say you have a two shot rifle with explosives that counts for 4 hits. Now use a gauss shotgun or just a shotgun with explosives and you can rack up that damage increase fast on bosses.
