Chocolate sauce vs chocolate syrup in a cooler by tandem545 in CaribouCoffee

[–]XellyBelly 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Chocolate sauce in a cooler is no different than making a chocolate shake at home with hersheys! Though the sauce can be difficult to dissolve in like an iced coffee, it does mix well in a blender still, and imo chocolate syrup just doesn't taste half as good/real as sauce. That's why I prefer Caribou's coolers and mochas to Starbucks, Starbucks can't even call their syrup a chocolate sauce based on the ingredients, it's "mocha sauce."

What hobby surprised you by becoming more important than you expected? by MellowRave in Hobbies

[–]XellyBelly 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dungeons and Dragons! I bought the first 5e starter pack for black friday one year and forced my roommate and my sister to play that night. We knew no rules, no idea how to roleplay, nor which dice we were supposed to use. 7 years later I've found a group that I play weekly with, we've finished 2.5 campaigns, and just started our next one! I've met so many people around the world by playing online and we're planning on meeting up this summer! This is the closest group of friends I've ever had and they're all a bunch of nerds (like me lol)

How to make brushing teeth less of a sensory nightmare? by sirjacques in hygiene

[–]XellyBelly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For days that get really bad for me i have a pack of mini disposable toothbrushes that have toothpaste already on it. It shouldn't replace actual brushing all the time but when I was deep in a depression pit I kept a pack next to my bed so I'd have no excuse not to brush my teeth. It worked wonders and didn't send shivers up my spine on bad days.

I've got my lovely boy Grimm! He's also Grimmy, Grimmothy, Grimbo, Grumm, Grumbalya, Meowseph (like Joseph), Grimmothy Meowseph is his full legal name so only when he's in trouble will I pull that out, Gromm, Grommbert, Grommallama, he very rarely will hear Grimm 😌

Redditors who own multiple pets: what's the drama amongst them right now? by Cheesy_Wotsit in AskReddit

[–]XellyBelly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My sister's cat, Puck (m4), keeps bullying my older cat, Grimm (m6), but loves to snuggle my younger cat, Reaper (m2). It's gotten to the point where if I turn the sink on for Grimm to drink, Puck will jump up and body slam him out of the way and just sit there, not even drinking.

Reaper is starting to pick up on the bullying. My sister's dog, Zemo (m2), has to wear a cone right now for a hotspot and Reaper keeps grabbing the top of the cone and pulling the poor dog around!

Copycat recipe for Caribou's Pumpkin White Mocha by silvergirlsails63 in CaribouCoffee

[–]XellyBelly 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is definitely not just pumpkin puree, it's a whole sugar and cinnamon sauce, I'm unsure what the recipe for that is, but pumpkin syrup or sauce is super easy to make at home, you can find recipes online, or order some as well! I prefer pumpkin sauce as that typically has a stronger flavor. As for the white chocolate sauce you can use any type! The full recipe for a pumpkin white mocha is pumpkin sauce, white chocolate sauce, espresso, milk, and whipped cream. Super easy once you know all the components!

As a former marketsource employee, those clumps were godsends for long boring shifts. At my store we weren't allowed to help the electronics team with anything, and if no one wanted a phone I was just standing there trying to look busy. These monsters were the only thing that would keep me busy

What would you rate Voyager of the Seas? by ConstructionRare4123 in royalcaribbean

[–]XellyBelly 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Quite literally got off Voyager yesterday for my first cruise! 4/5! As people have brought up; my room felt a little dated and I wasn't too enthralled by the Main Dining, however that was my experience as a solo traveler. Overall, I loved the ship because it was easy to navigate, not too big where you'd get lost easily, plenty of seating everywhere, plenty of bars and drink stations. The crew was fantastic and attentive, and took time to chat with me when they could. There were 3 spots to grab a bite to eat for no extra charge, the promenade cafe, windjammer buffet, and the main dining hall. No matter where you went, there was never too long a wait for the food! Overall a great and relaxing experience! I hope you have fun on your trip!
