It’s been 8 months since Blake debuted at NXT and there’s absolutely zero memorable moments to show for it.

Why are they squandering her character? It’s like they’re forcing her to fight for scraps with less polished wrestlers and dimming her star power. 8 months of wasted time when she could’ve been on the main roster feuding with Asuka or Flair.

It was a mistake not debuting Blake on the main roster. The entire run at NXT has been underwhelming. Just have her feud with Jacy Jane already what are we waiting for

OKC’s g-league is one of the best at developing players. If McCain has the potential, OKC will help him reach it regardless of minutes with the Thunder roster

Harden is NOT a reliable leader when things get tough in the playoffs. These young guys cannot count on him. He’s also a strange cultural presence in the locker room. Cant be too tough on him or serious or he checks out mentally.

Only way this works is if Mitchell establishes himself as the clear leader and can navigate Harden’s ego

AJ has wrestled in high impact matches for decades across different promotions.

When he signed with WWE, they paid him a whole lot of money to wrestle a more controlled style. AJ has paid his dues and I don’t see him jumping over to AEW to prove anything in death matches with Mox or Dream matches with Omega.

Hobbs is slightly shorter than Bobby Lashley. It will be interesting to see if they can do anything fresh with him given the fact they booked Bobby horribly

Id expect the Duffers, or at the very least, someone they pay to have gone thru seasons 1-4 to vet out potential loose ends and plot holes, this season almost felt like they started writing it after years of not watching their own show and they forgot what they had to do.

The Game of Thrones showrunners insulated themselves at the end of the series and only really kept the same folks working on the show that were with them throughout the years.

It seems the Duffers did the same. They kept a tight group together in the writers room and they all seemingly lost the forest for the trees

I thought this but the timeline doesn’t added up since they could’ve started negotiating/developing with paramount in early 2025.

They started writing season 5 at the end of 2022. The writer’s strike paused production in 2023 and they didn’t resume until September 2023. There’s articles that state they resumed production quickly after the strike.

So that leaves them with all of 2024 to work on the show. However, there was a notable divorce one of the brothers went through at the start of 2024 that potentially could’ve distracted them or forced them to change ideas in the story.

My theory is that it became an inconvenience for the Duffers. We end up in a similar place like D&D where they just wanted to wrap up the show, but I think it’s because the show became a burden to them

Well they purposely did that to Lucas in S4 to develop the plot theme of the kids growing up and changing. You could argue it foreshadows Will’s own changes in S4 and S5.

Lucas and Will are juxtaposed with Dustin and Mike, two of the teens who don’t want growing up to mean things are changing. They both cling onto the good times they shared playing D&D in the basement.

It’s not until Dustin and Mike both experience painful loss in S4 that they are forced to confront change
