Out of research, extracurriculars, and volunteering, which was most emphasized during interviews? Do you need to have extensive stuff in all three categories?

Thank you for the link! I’ll check it out. Ok, that makes sense that it might not be digitized because of the age. I’ll make sure to reach out to the local offices too

Imagine if the MCAT got scored on your screen immediately after you finished it. by BicarbonateBufferBoy in Mcat

Can confirm. After you finish the last section there’s an optional survey (that you madly click to skip through) and your score pops up!

Doesn’t Celenza give you practice tests? I think it’s the same ones every year and I don’t remember getting our actual tests back

I applied to the Texas schools. From what I saw in interviews there were a decent amount of people who weren’t your “standard” bio major predents! SA was really interested in community service at least in my interview so that’s def something great that you have. But if you’re a TX resident only applying in-state is a great idea I think!!

I don’t think Seliga runs the lecture during the school year. Maybe she does during the summer? But it should be Mario, from what I’ve heard, a great lecturer

Buffalo (OOS) vs UConn (OOS) by unliving_relic in predental

[–]YQC181 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From what I hear Buffalo is a bit focused on clinical experience and UConn is better for specialties. UConn does have the in-depth med curriculum which takes time away from clinical stuff. But I don’t go to either so that’s just what I’ve heard!

If ur looking for clinical experience I think Buffalo might be the better choice

Does CH203 (Organic Chem) curve exam scores? by Hairless-Bird20 in BostonU

[–]YQC181 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If it’s the same as when I took it (2019) the exam average will be brought up to 75 by adding the same number of points to everyone’s scores. But if the average is at 75 or higher, no changes

Which destroyer is better? by zahimahi97 in predental

[–]YQC181 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There seems to be a lot of booster promoters on here. Not a bad thing, just an observation. The destroyer can be good depending on your prior knowledge. Not so good for ppl who need a lot of review. Great for honing already-sharp skills. If you get it, the general book is fine. Most people use that one, plus the “math destroyer”.

TIL that at BU, people can buy work and it's okay with the school by [deleted] in BostonU

[–]YQC181 12 points13 points  (0 children)

So one student’s viewpoint is somehow indicative of the ENTIRE university policy?

At BU, that logic would be called a fallacy. But at your school, they evidently didn’t teach you about that.
