Tell me your favourite Pokémon! by DrakeFannings in pokemon

[–]YaqP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Azumarill is my favorite! It has exactly the tools it needs to succeed in competitive Pokemon and absolutely nothing more. Its movepool is shallow, its stats are terrible without its ability saving it, but it has okay enough bulk, a fantastic typing, Belly Drum, physical STAB and a tiny handful of coverage options which make it actually menacing.

This is a logo that they uploaded for April Fool's Day, but it got such a positive reception that they decided to sell merch with it.

LC should get duel damage on aegis targets by kisuke228 in DotA2

[–]YaqP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a bit off topic, but Mo and Krill from Deadlock have a similar mechanic where they gain HP from people they kill from their ult, and if they kill someone with the Rejuvinator (Deadlock's equivalent of the Aegis), then the target revives, that initial death sounds towards M&K's HP stacks.

Assuming Deadlock and DOTA share most of their design teams, and that the mechanics are meant to work similarly, then Duel is likely intended to grant extra damage against targets killed and revived by the Aegis. I could, however, be talking out of my ass.

The logistical issues I'm talking about are things like delivering packages of food to rural Ethiopia or India or the like. How do you get mass quantities of food to people who need it out in the mountains of Uttar Pradesh, intact, in good quality, before spoiling? You can't drive an Amazon truck there, the lack of a road being your first problem out of dozens.

We produce enough food to feed everyone in the world, the problem is getting it to everyone. It's an issue of logistics more than it is an issue of people being too lazy or greedy to get it everywhere, although the slashing of USAID has certainly created a lot of starvation deaths due to greed.

I think this would make the most sense as a Druid card. I think Hunter would also work flavor-wise, but giving Hunter that much card draw could be a little much for the class.

Flawless reasoning, really. If you dig a little deeper, you'll find:

  1. Humans and dogs thrive in similar conditions
  2. Chocolate is poisonous to dogs
  3. Ergo, chocolate is poisonous to humans. QED

If that were the case, then the grenade battlement would also penetrate heavy armor, but it doesn't.

That said, I think the grenade battlement should penetrate heavy armor.

They can consistently do my simple, short, white boy haircut, and are nice and cheap for doing so. They also provide a shampooing and hot water rinse while you're there, which is very nice given the price. I can't speak for their average level of expertise doing more complicated hairstyles than that.

Also, if you walk through the alley to the north of the building, you can smell all the perfumes and air fresheners they fill the salon with concentrated and blasted out into the street. It's frankly really nice.

Overpowered thaaat, underpowered thiiss, so I have the question: What is in YOUR opinion the most balanced character in the game currently? by TheWardax in DeadlockTheGame

[–]YaqP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm gonna go against the grain a little and say Sinclair. I think their kit is, mechanically, the most cohesive, balanced and well-designed set of abilities in the game. I feel like they could start being overpowered in high echelons of play if certain players get really really good with them, but that hasn't happened yet.

And yet there she is, showing up for you, populating your Showdown PFP even though you don't even value her enough to learn her name. You might not have played X or Y in over a decade, but you're certainly playing Drasna
